MCGI ZOOM TEACHING BY BROTHER DANIEL - SEPTEMBER 5TH

Greetings to my dear family in Christ and the MCGI ministry of God. It's been a pleasurable experience today, having to join the zoom teaching by Brother Daniel. Today's message was very inspiring and an absolute blessing to me. I learned a lot today.

In today's teachings, it was centered on how we speak as christians in Christ and also on how to handle Anger. Indeed I want to live a happy and fruitful life which will be pleasing to Christ and therefore it's important to be careful of my speech.

Before I get into the lessons I learned today, at the beginning of the Zoom meeting I really enjoyed the songs sang by the MCGI Choir. Their dance was very awesome. I'm really happy to have seen it. I loved the big fans they were holding too.

I would love to take the time to thank brother Ray for his contribution of moving to Nara Palawan to meet with the people there. MCGI has done a lot of good things for people all over the world and may the Lord bless them. By the way I loved the balloons they were holding as well.

Upcoming Mass Indoctrination Invite

Before I get into the lessons of today, I'll also take the time to invite everyone to watch the Mass Indoctrination which I'm really looking forward to on September 11th this Monday 7 pm philippine time which would be around 11 am for those who live in my country, Ghana.

Now to the lessons

The main topic and theme of today's lesson was about following the law of our Lord Jesus Christ. In today's message by Brother Daniel we talked about being careful and watchful about our speech. Now the things Brother Daniel preached are from the word of God and we are commanded to listen to it.

As it was written in 1st Corinthians 14:37

ESV - If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.

The teachings are meant to correct and guide us, which will bring true transformation in our lives. We need to humble ourselves and accept the wisdom of God through the teachings of his servants and prophets. All the discussions held today was inspired by God and His word.

As it was written in 2 Timothy 3 : 15

KJV - and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

As the bible said, by our words we shall be condemned and by those same words we shall be justified. This makes our speech very important. We should know that we represent Jesus Chris and he will only answer the prayers of the righteous and to be righteous would also means to be justified before God and the bible tells us that by our words we will be justified. This means that, if we are careful with our speech that is when the Lord will accept our prayers and answer them.

As it is written in Matthew 12:37

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned

One other thing I learned is that I should make the effort to be at peace with everyone in life. I should not repay evil with evil or good with evil. It is only when I am at peace with everyone will I be at peace with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now we should also understand that in order to be close to God we need to be holy and sanctified. Our holiness has something to do with our speech because by our words we shall be made justified. This means as we become careful with our speech, we will be holy before God and be closer to God.

As it was written in Hebrews 12 : 14

NIV - Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

If we want to be sanctified and see good days in the future, we need to be holy and by our words we shall be justified so therefore how we speak is really important.

It is part of our faith and believe to do good unto all our fellowmen even if they do not believe in our faith. We should never ever repay evil for evil because vengeance is of the Lord.

As it was written in 1 Peter 3:9

NLT - Don't retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you His blessing.

Now one thing we must always realize is that the eyes of the Lord continue to watch us, what we say and do are before Christ Jesus. This is why we must always seek to do what he has instructed in the Word of God. If we want to see good days we shouldn't speak in bad ways that doesn't please the Lord.

If we want God to listen to us, we must speak in the manner as He has instructed in the bible which will make us sanctified, righteous and worthy for Him to listen to our prayers.

Things Have Changed so we should be more careful with our tongue.

Brother Daniel made a really profound point when he was talking about how in the past it was very expensive to broadcast messages to a large audience from far away. To do that in the past, you would need broadcast satellite and a broadcast journalist. Nowadays, because of social media and the phones , anyone can say anything and it can reach lots of people from far countries. This is what makes being careful about what we say even more important in our modern society. We must always speak the Truth backed by facts or the word of God. Let's not speak what is not true.

We can create confusion just by wrong speech. We need to also be very careful not to gossip. God frowns on gossips. We can also get into very serious trouble just because we weren't careful with our speech.

As it was written in Proverbs 13:3

Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin

As it was also written in Proverbs 16:28

A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends

Anger

Brother Daniel also spoke about Anger and how to control Anger. I learned from the medical research video they showed that a lot of bad things can happen to your body if you're angry all the time. It can lead to a lot of sicknesses.

Based on medical advice from the video, ways of controlling your anger include;

1. Identifying the triggers
2. Talk to somebody about it
3. Muscle Relaxation
4. Step away from the place or person making you angry
5. Change your thoughts

Also from the Bible's perspective about anger, it says that we should not repay evil with evil. We should not seek to take revenge because vengeance is of the Lord. Brother Eli also explained that in the end we will be judged by God so it is pointless to take vengeance into our own hands. We need to be patient with people that offend us and leave any depressing issue to God.

Patience for naughty children and MCGI social experiment

I really loved the interview that MCGI did about how to handle naughty children. I learned that indeed children are young and there is foolishness in the heart of a child. The best thing to do to naughty children is to be patient with them and also use the rod of correction for when they become stubbornly disobedient. This is the instruction from the word of God.

Also what a wonderful social experiment by MCGI to understand how to handle the children and beggers you meet on the street. Most of the people felt pity for the little boy and helped him with a lot of things. God bless everyone who showed kindness. When beggers approach us, let us help them and give them whatever we can.
