Wednesday Walk and a buzzy morning routine for a Sloth!

Good morning buzzers! I hope you're doing great this Hump day! It's another chance to shine! Grab every opportunity by the nuts and give them a shake! Or something along those lines! I'm going to double-use this post! Photo essay and Wednesday walk, here we go!

What's your morning routine like? Is it busy? Chilled? How do you mentally prepare yourself for the day ahead, or do you just jump in full steam ahead and smash through your day? 'choo choo Thomas!' Managed to snap a pic of Thomas the Tank as it did its yearly 'kids day out' at the local railway! Awesome chance to take the little ones for some lunch and a trip around the coast on Thomas!

As a sloth, I like to 'try' to keep things pretty chill in the morning, but I always end up doing hella more than I expect to. After trying the 5am club the last week there, I fell back into my usual sleep until its lunchtime method, and I must admit, it doesn't help! I need to be more strict with myself and get into the deep end once again!

Between getting myself up and ready, getting the dog out for his morning toilet and feeding him (only to have to walk him again an hour later). I squeeze in a coffee, and some food (good idea! I need some food!). Then it's off to the laptop to break into the castle of buzz from last night! There are some days I don't bother with the laptop, instead looking at my phone to see the same stuff, just in a different format!

Of course, this all relies on my internet signal working first thing in the morning! So here we are! At the computer, checking Ecency, gotta get them points! And I do enjoy the overall experience here. Checking my alt on Peakd, because, it's easier having two tabs open than flicking between accounts! Over to Dbuzz to check in there, then a hop to Leo threads for some more short-form content. Then we have Twitter, Zealy and of course, Discord to check into! Sometimes I even have a peek into my old friend, Telegram.

All this just to find out what I've missed and begin my journey for the day! Onto Sloth.buzz, for today is curation day, so I best get these fingers warmed up to highlight the best content over the last week! I think I'm going to 'slim down' the curation this week, I normally try to include everyone who posts to sloth.buzz, but we keep getting more and more posts so it might be time to be more focused on content value!

Well, halfway through my morning coffee, thinking of where to take the doggo this morning for his walk. We've managed to hit some nice trails over the last week so looking to continue to keep him excited and going somewhere different! Had a look at the map the other day and decided there wasn't 'too much' around here.

Plenty of backroads/fields and coastlines but no real walking areas. We did manage a trip under the 'kissing trees' yesterday. Central Scotland is cool if not a little flat and boring! I need to get my finger out and get a decent hiking holiday in! If only I could earn $30 a post instead of $1 we'd be laughing! The joys of living in a Western country, these posts don't even cover my fuel to the shop and back! We're here for the tech! Well mostly, we're here for sloth to have his morning rant over his coffee before he kicks off his day for real!

Hope you have an awesome day! Until the next time,

Sloth out!

Sloth on! I just don't have mornings "in me," and only try to get up early to the degree that we live in a world designed around life's early birds.

The early bird catches the worm! I tend to find I enjoy my days better when I'm up and about early, then I can sloth out for more of the evening!

I have two answers for your how do I start the day, I used to say back when I worked or even in early retirement I was a get up and get at it guy, up early and off quickly to work or out for photos, since My wife has had health issues I havent been out for morning walks and I am out of the routine and struggle to get a bit motivated to start the day

How cool they have thomas the Tank Train I know the kids must love seeing it I know the kid in me would enjoy it LOL

Yeah I’m in the same boat, the days I get up early I seem to have a bit more go! If I have a lie in, it tends to set a bad example for the rest of my day!

Loved seeing Thomas, im sure my kids would’ve if they were there but I got to enjoy the experience all on my own haha

Hi Sloth , for me 6-7 am is just fine get up get coffee , check the weather and grab the cameras , grab another coffee and drink that while taking pictures in the garden works for me as a routine most of the days.

Then i need to sort out what photos to keep and what to trash then blog it , and see what other people has found to report this day on hive :)

That thomas train would have been nice for my daughter , content value is always hard to judge getting big upvotes is nice but good interaction is priceless.

I think i might set my alarm for 6am in future, 5am was good but left me getting not much sleep, that extra hour might make the difference! Coffee is a must for the morning!

I don't usually bother about my content 'value' as long as I enjoy the content I'm making (and hopefully others do too). As you say, interactions are much more important! Thanks for taking the time to reply!

It's an old Steam railway / museum, they have occasional tourist days where they bring out Thomas the Tank. It's great for the kids!

The children will surely have much fun every time the activity is held in town.
