Rear Window - Movie Review

I love suspenseful movies when they are done well. I think Alfred Hitchcock was a master at creating well done suspenseful movies.

I like the film, too, and think it's actors were well-chosen. But perhaps with other actors Hitchcock would have made small change - perhaps Lisa wouldn't have been this "emotional but aloof" when played by someone else.

And to make a film out of a short story, you have to add actors. A short story, due to its length and structure, can't show that many characters in depth. They stick to the main char and the story.

Excellent movie review, I'm looking forward in watching the movie and you mentioned 'little work space during acting', which reminded me of Madea goes to jail by Tyler Perry.
