Nigerian my country, backward ever, forward never!!!

Good day friends:

How are you all doing over here, hope you guys are doing perfectly fine. Am not doing bad either, it’s been an amazing journey so far on this platform and am really enjoying myself here😊.
This is actually my first time posting to this community, I frequent my posts at @needlework community giving the fact that am a fashion designer( I sew), so it’s very easy to get content and post that’s why I find it much easier to be there 😊 but all the same once in a while I do make my way to other communities to make posts there too.
So friends I want to tell you a little about my country Nigeria 🇳🇬 hmmm at this point should I say I regret the fact that am a Nigerian 🤷‍♂️ because things are getting more and more complicated by the day and it’s driving me mad is as if am losing my mind, am just so vexed , taking a break to do some thinking about my so called country am just so perplexed. Now most of you might be confused at my topic and some might be thinking have made a mistake well.... I haven’t, am fully aware of what am saying and the angle am directing it to, normally we all know that there’s an old saying that says “forward ever backward never” now that where i generated my topic from but I needed to make it real by stating the obvious and the obvious is that here in Nigeria 🇳🇬 instead of us to keep improving our political system no! Instead we are going backward on a daily bases so that why I gave my post this topic “Nigeria my country, forward never backward ever” we’re always ready to go backward and we are just satisfied with our stagnation, like a damage drainage system we don’t move forward but rather backward and at a point we just keep still and when a little wind comes we still keep on moving backward and stopping at a point and that continues overtime am just sick and tired and it pains me that in all this no one can do anything about it or change anything.
Over here we have deferent political parties but there’re three(3) outstanding and popular ones and the rest are invalid. The three(3) major parties over here are:
Parties and there slogans.
APC (All progressive congress). “Change”
PDP (people’s Democratic Party). “Power to the people”
LP (labor party). “Forward ever

Few weeks ago all parties had there primaries elections in other to select there candidates that will represent there party in the upcoming presidential elections in 2023, all party had there selections made.

PDP(people’s Democratic Party)
had there primaries on 27 may(last month) and they picked a winner the next day which was 28 of may, Atiku Abubakar is a Nigerian politician and businessman who served as the vice president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. His 75years old.🥺

APC(All progressive congress)
who had there own on the 6th of June and the results were out on the 7th of June this year where Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu who is a Nigerian accountant and politician who has been national leader of the All Progressives Congress since the party's formation in 2013. His an ex-Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 and Senator for Lagos West during the brief Third Republic, he emerge as the winner in APC and he is 70year old 😒.

LP(labour party)
They also had there own too on the 8th of June this year and they picked there candidates the follow day (9th of June) which was “Peter Gregory Obi” who is a businessman and politician he then became the Labour Party nominee for Presidentship come 2023. He is 60years of age. I can never forget this one, he had served as the Governor of Anambra State for three (3) consecutive times from 2006 to 2014.

Now looking at there past recordings have notice that the only person worthy for that position is none other than Peter obi and the other two are not just there to create any deference but there’re just there out of desperation the problem is not the fact that there’re individually contesting to be the president come 2023 for the intention of creating impact in the life’s of the masses, it’s other way round. I came to this conclusion after looking at there history and there speech on national TV there’re both not just fit to sit in that sit.
The desperation of Atiku and Tinubu to be president is something we should be all worried about, because In 1993, Atiku ran again to be president under SDP and lost again to Abiola in the primaries. Now once anyone lost in the primaries that means the person automatically disqualify to go furthermore. Now in 1999(the year I was born actually😊), he became the Vice President under Obasanjo, in 2003 he had fallen out with his principal and tried blackmailing obasanjo not to run, because over here in my country every political office is for four (4) years and after that first 4 year, you can still contest for another four years to complete your years, it’s a maximum of 8years. Now after the first four(4) years Obasanjo was on seat, he wanted complete him years by contest for another four(4) years when Atiku who was his vice presidential tried blackmailing him that he shouldn’t go again( he intended to deceive him and go contest behind him) Atiku is just too desperate to be president but his deception didn’t work out.
Now In 2007, Atiku decamped to ACN(another party) from PDP and ran for President, he lost once again, he now returned to PDP again in 2011 and ran for President, lost again to Jonathan our ex-president in the primaries.

By 2014, he left the PDP again and joined APC, contest for Presidentship again In 2017 and he failed spectacularly 😞 in the primaries to Buhari (our present president), he left the APC again and returned to the PDP he left before because he lost Jonathan, he now returned again, contest still for presidentship in 2019 and he still failed woefully. One man? failing like this for 30 years, one man and his sheer desperation to be president. All his failed bids has cost him billions of dollars, that should have been used in helping the less privileged out there who find it very difficult to feed😭. This is not a man interested in fixing the country, this is a man on a mission to wreck what is left of Nigeria and recoup his losses, now despite moving from one party to another just to achieve one thing and he keeps failing mightily, this fact alone should be something of worry to us, the reason why he kept failing, well to me I think his not just the right person to sit there if not then why has he failed on so many attempts despite his moving from
One party to another now he finally moved to PDP, now contesting once again for president of this country come 2023 and he is doing everything possible to sit there who knows what we’re in for this coming election because now sure he won’t want to fail again this time he will do everything possible to sit there my prayer is that God should keep us and our family safe.

Now Tinubu’s case is even more nauseating. A man who thinks he should be President just because it is his turn. Nothing more, nothing less, can you even imagine that?😩 no policy or what do ever, No economic plan, no plan on stopping the security challenges Nigeria has already and facing too. Before the primaries election commence they gave all aspirant that were to contest for the election primaries for the selection of one person to represent the party, an opportunity was given to them all individually to say something that they will be doing if they’re election as president can you imagine what Tinubu said? He said that it’s now his turn to be President because he was the one that place other president on that seat including our present president Buhari, he said he was the one that made him president(those were his speech). So now it’s his turn to also be president because he place others there. I don’t know what can be more insulting and concerning, that this, Tinubu thinks because he helped this current administration come into power, he should be repaid by becoming President, or that he should be rewarded.
Now Nigeria is a hamper gift that should be given to him as a reward for perceived loyalty.
These two men are extremely desperate to become president and all for the wrong reasons.

This is desperation on the high side 😂 And they’re both so desperate to the point that they can do anything to achieve that position. My prayer is that God should just have Mercy on.
Someone might be wondering how I got to know all this well..... am an historian, I read history in school so I just can’t help myself but to follow and find out every little for save keeping 🤗.

The next president will come and rule for another 8years now if you were if 26-27 of age, now calculating how old you’ll be in the next 8years of there governance, your entire youth which is arguably your most productive period just entrenched in bad governance.

If we don’t take back the country from these men who have decided to run it down to the ground by 2023, then we would have lost a golden opportunity, So please am pleading with every Nigerian, please plan and go get your your PVC(personal voting card) so we can stand together and save our youth please from the heavy storm that’s coming. We have to vote and not just to vote but to cast our vote 🗳 well, choose the right person because this case cannot be overemphasized.

Presently now universities are on strike both governments and private and students had been at home for over 3-4 months now and the president is just there doing nothing about it neither is any other person. I keep wondering why can’t a young person be president for once that way am sure the younger generation and the youth affairs will be looked into rather than this old men who are just there most of them can’t even walk probably and they’re still fight for the presidential seat.
