A Day of Surprises: Dealing with Prices and Mix-ups

Today was meant to be a busy one, but it turned into a series of unexpected twists.
I started early, getting chores done before diving into my plans for the day.

First up, I needed to send a handmade shoe to a friend in another state. I headed out at 8 a.m. and went to the park. But when I got there, the driver asked for a lot of money. I said it was too much and after some arguing, he agreed to a lower price. But then my friend said the driver told him a different price! I was frustrated and called the driver ti let him know i was coming back for the package cause the price is too much, but the driver was already on his way.

Next, I went to the bank. It was quick, just had to talk to a bank officer about something.
While I was out, I was expecting a package from another friend. They had trouble with the price too, but finally found a good deal and let me know.
When the delivery driver called to say he was almost here, I was excited. But when I got the package, the driver said I owed him more money. Even though I showed him proof of the agreed price, he wouldn't listen and caused a scene.

It got really tense, and it was almost turning into a fight already before I told him if he should lay a finger or raise his voice again I would retaliate without remorse so he calmed down.

Finally, he showed me a list of items he was delivering, and it was clear he had messed up the prices, i was very sure something was wrong and he just wanted to cheat me cause i wasnt there when they talked about the price.
Once he admitted it, things calmed down, but it left me feeling frustrated and so mad.

It made me think about how some delivery drivers can be unfair, which wasn't how I wanted my day to go.
