Good morning Hivers, hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today I'll be making my first post on Foodies Bee Hive. I love starting my day with a simple meal because, it is fast and easy to prepare. So, I'll be showing you how to prepare simple homemade pancakes. You will just need a few ingredients.

Buenos días Hivers, espero que hayan tenido un maravilloso fin de semana. Hoy haré mi primera publicación en Foodies Bee Hive. Me encanta comenzar el día con una comida sencilla porque es rápida y fácil de preparar. Entonces, te mostraré cómo preparar panqueques caseros simples. Solo necesitarás algunos ingredientes.

Ingredients;

200 grams of flour
2 raw eggs
1 cup of milk
a pinch of salt
a pinch of nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence(optional)
1 teaspoon of diced onions
1 teaspoon of grinded pepper
3-4 teaspoon of sugar
3 teaspoons of melted butter or vegetable oil.

Ingriedientes;

200 gramos de harina
2 huevos crudos
1 taza de leche
una pizca de sal
una pizca de nuez moscada en polvo
1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla (opcional)
1 cucharadita de cebolla picada
1 cucharadita de pimienta molida
3-4 cucharadita de azúcar
3 cucharaditas de mantequilla derretida o aceite vegetal.


Step 1:
To prepare your batter, get a mixing bowl. Add your eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla essence and whisk. I love adding vanilla essence to my pancakes to give it a nice aroma.

Paso 1:
Para preparar su masa, obtenga un tazón para mezclar. Agregue sus huevos, leche, mantequilla derretida, esencia de vainilla y bata. Me encanta agregarle esencia de vainilla a mis panqueques para darle un agradable aroma.

Step 2:
Add the diced onions, salt, pepper, sugar, nutmeg and whisk. Mix it till it becomes smooth.

Paso 2:
Agregue las cebollas picadas, la sal, la pimienta, el azúcar, la nuez moscada y bata. Mézclalo hasta que quede suave.

Step 3:
After mixing them thoroughly, add your flour gradually and mix to a runny consistency. You can add milk or water to the batter if it is too thick.

Note: The lighter your batter, the thinner your pancakes.

Paso 3
Después de mezclarlos bien, agregue la harina gradualmente y mezcle hasta obtener una consistencia líquida. Puede agregar leche o agua a la masa si está demasiado espesa.

Nota: Cuanto más ligera sea la masa, más finas serán las tortitas.

Step 4:
This is the final stage. This is the stage where you fry the pancakes. Get a non-stick pan, add a little bit of vegetable oil to grease the pan. Scoop your batter with a large spoon and fry. Make sure you fry it with a low heat to prevent it from burning. After few seconds, flip the pancake to the other side and fry. Repeat this method for the rest of the batter.

Paso 4:
Esta es la etapa final. Esta es la etapa donde fríes los panqueques. Obtenga una sartén antiadherente, agregue un poco de aceite vegetal para engrasar la sartén. Saca la masa con una cuchara grande y fríela. Asegúrate de freírlo a fuego lento para evitar que se queme. Después de unos segundos, voltee el panqueque al otro lado y fríalo. Repita este método para el resto de la masa.
