Excuse is a stealer
There is this saying that excuse is a stealer of success. It is common for man to try to find excuse at every given chance.
The excuse might be to avoid something or to save something. In most cases, it is to avoid something.
A typical student will keep giving himself excuses as to why he is not reading yet. He has this belief that the exam time is far and he has plenty of time to enjoy himself playing video games or partying.
Little did he know that the difference between here and there is just a matter of time and before he knew it, the exam is here and there wont be time to further excuses.
Sometimes there are certain things we need to do to become great or successful in life but for one reason or the other we just let it be.
After certain days, we realise those who took the bold step few days ago are now rich while we are still where we were few days ago with opportunity to make life changing decision but we simply hid under excuses.
The earlier we realise this stealer of joy and success, the ealier we are able to move forward in life.
Progress is called progress because it moves forward and constantly in motion. The one who gives excuse is always stagnant and in one place.
Such person cannot progress in life because he is so comfortable where he is that excuse becomes where he seeks solace.
As man, you either kill every excuse tendency or spirit in you or it kills you and your dreams.
Achiever were once dreamers but their actions resulted into that which made them successful in life.
To achieve and be successful, you need to do away with excuses. Each time you have the thought, counter it with a more positive one and remind yourself of the need to progress in life.
Will the power and decide. Give no room for doubts which birth excuses.
