Hello all Splinterlands friends,
Today I would like to share the battles with Counterspell rule set with you.
I can not find any ranked battle with the Counterspell rule set recently but luckily I got 1 Brawl battle with it.

The battle rule

• 23 mana cap
• 3 rule sets - Melee Mayhem, Counterspell and Ferocity
• Only Fire/Water/Dragon splinter can be used in the battle
  

These are my strategy when facing Counterspell rule set

• Avoid using Magic monsters as much as you can
• I may use Djinn Oshannus in the Counterspell battle because he has Void ability which helps him "immune" to the Counterspell.
  However, he has high mana. I need to consider the battle mana cap when using him
• I may use magic monster with Heal ability but it also has a risk because monster will heal first then attack, so my monster always in a lower health situation after getting return attack from Counterspell.

At the end, I decided to use the low mana cap melee monsters to utilize the best Melee Mayhem rule set.

My lineup

Summoner		Kelya Frendul - to have 1 speed and 1 armor to protect my monsters
1st position		Cruel Sethropod - only 3 mana but has a 3 armors and 4 health. Good to be tanker

All of my melee monsters got 1 additional attack from him
3rd position		Torrent Fiend - I put him in the middle of the line because I want to keep him stay longer in the battle and deal more damages
4rd position		Isgald Vorst - of course, a Gladiator must be used in a Brawl battle.
5th position		Sabre Shark - high speed to get the advantage of early attack
6th position		Uraeus - Usually I choose Pelacor Bandit in this position but he only has 1 attack with level 2 Summoner so I chose Ureaus to deal higher damage

The battle

Round 1

• It seems my opponents also had the same strategy. She/he all used the melee monsters. However, I had 6 monsters to deal attacks while my opponents only had 4.
• In the 1st round, only Hardy Stonefish was eliminated from the battle

Round 2

• The golden Isgald Vorst killed my Torrent Fiend and got strengthened
• Luckily, my Sabre Shark and Ureaus can finished the golden Isgald Vorst before he getting stronger.

Round 3

• My Demented Shark destroyed Sea Monster
• My opponent's Demented Shark was hit hardly by Sabre Shark and Ureaus and he only had 3 health left by the end of this round.

Round 4

• My Isgald Vorst can easily finish the Demented Shark and I won this battle.
