Days of rain and sunny spells / Días de llueve y escampa

The rainy season in my country has been pretty wild. We’re already on tropical wave number 41, I think, and we’re getting a lot of rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and flashes of lightning...

The day starts out sunny, and then everything suddenly clouds over and a tremendous downpour hits. Then the sun comes out shining brightly, it feels like you’re in the hot European summer, and right in the middle of that, a light drizzle starts falling again.

A lot of people laugh at the theory of climate change, but I believe without a doubt that pollution and everything humans have done to this planet over at least the last 50 years is bringing about these consequences. What do you think?

La temporada de lluvias en mi país está siendo bastante frenética. Ya vamos por la onda tropical 41, creo, y nos está llegando mucha agua, descargas eléctricas, rayos y centellas…

Amanece soleado y luego todo se nubla de repente y cae tremendo diluvio. Luego sale un sol radiante que parece que estuvieras en el caliente verano europeo, y en ese mismo escenario vuelve a caer una llovizna.

Mucha gente se ríe de la teoría del cambio climático, pero yo creo que sin duda, la contaminación y todo lo que seres humanos le han hecho a este planeta por lo menos los últimos 50 años, está trayendo estas consecuencias. ¿Qué opinan?
