Mía: una amiga inesperada [ESP - ENG]

A veces soy como un imán para los perros. En ocasiones me sorprende que, incluso los caminos más odiosos, suelen ser cariñosos conmigo. Esta ocasión fue una de las tantas en las que, de manera inesperada, conozco a mascota que, siendo tosca, decide darme un poco de su cariño. Por supuesto, yo me arriesgo y doy el primer paso al decidir acariciarlos, a pesar de las advertencias que me hacen. ¿Soy demasiado arriesgado? No lo sé, solamente deseo dar amor y recibirlo, aun en términos de los amigos perrunos. Lo cierto es que fui a la hacienda de una amiga, y conocí a Mía; una amiguita muy especial, que según su dueña, tiene mal humor, pero no lo demostró conmigo.

Mía, al verme, se acercó a olfatearme. No mostré miedo alguno y de inmediato la acaricié. Su dueña casi grita para advertirme que Mía era algo malhumorada, pero se sorprendió tanto como yo al observar que la canina movía su cola y se recostaba para que yo rascara su panza. Dudé de que Mía fuera odiosa, pues me estaba demostrando todo lo contrario. No obstante, las historias que me contaron sobre ella me hicieron saber que, en realidad, estaba haciendo la excepción conmigo. A mí me pareció genial, después de todo, amo a los perros.

Sometimes I'm like a dog magnet. Sometimes it surprises me that even the most hateful paths are usually kind to me. This occasion was one of the many in which, unexpectedly, I met a pet who, being rude, decided to give me a little of her affection. Of course, I take a risk and take the first step by deciding to pet them, despite the warnings they give me. Am I too risky? I don't know, I just want to give love and receive it, even in terms of dog friends. The truth is that I went to a friend's farm, and I met Mia; a very special friend, who according to her owner, has a bad mood, but she didn't show it to me.

Mia, upon seeing me, came over to sniff me. I showed no fear and immediately petted her. Her owner almost shouted to warn me that Mia was a bit moody, but she was as surprised as I was to see the dog wagging her tail and lying down so I could scratch her belly. I doubted that Mia was hateful since she was showing me the opposite. However, the stories I was told about her let me know that she was making an exception for me. I thought it was great, after all, I love dogs.

Mía es bastante territorial, por lo que entendí cuando me relataron su historia. Al vivir en una hacienda, le encanta proteger cada rincón para alejar a los malhechores. Me dijeron que hace buen equipo con otros perritos, en ese sentido, es bastante amigable. Ahora bien, quizás sea algo celosa con respecto a los seres humanos que no le caen bien... Pero al menos no fui yo ese caso.

Luego de que conocer a Mía, decidí jugar con ella para ver si de verdad le caía bien. Se recostó sobre la grama, dio algunas vueltas y mostró su panza. La Vi bastante alegre y tranquila... Hasta me dio su patita. Mía fue bastante amigable conmigo, al menos corrí esa suerte. Jugamos un rato... ¡Y hasta se quedó tranquila cuando le saque algunas fotografías!

Mia is quite territorial, from what I understood when they told me her story. Living on a farm, she loves to protect every corner to ward off evildoers. I was told that she makes a good team with other puppies, in that sense, she is quite friendly. Now, maybe she is a little jealous when it comes to human beings she doesn't like... But at least it wasn't the case.

After meeting Mia, I decided to play with her to see if she liked me. She lay down on the grass, turned around a few times, and showed her belly. I saw her quite happy and calm... she even gave me the paw of her. Mia was quite friendly to me, at least I was that lucky. We played for a while... And even she was calm when I took some pictures of her!

Al menos para mí, todos los perritos son amigables. Algunos tienen un carácter fuerte, pero aún así, pueden mostrarte su lado más amigable y cariñoso. En ocasiones es algo complejo, sobre todo cuando son muy territoriales. ¿Qué es lo que hace que una mascota sea cariñosa o odiosa? Quizás la manera en la que interactúa con su entorno, y la crianza que le dan sus dueños. Por supuesto, algunas razas son más territoriales que otra. Al menos es lo que he visto en algunos casos.

At least for me, all dogs are friendly. Some have a strong character, but even so, they can show you their friendlier and more affectionate side. Sometimes it is somewhat complex, especially when they are very territorial. What makes a pet loving or hateful? Perhaps the way it interacts with its environment, and the upbringing that its owners give it. Of course, some breeds are more territorial than others. At least that's what I've seen in some cases.

Mía demostró ser una amiga bastante simpática y cariñosa, tanto que hasta sorprendió a su propia dueña. Me gustó disfrutar al aire libre con ella; la hacienda es bastante grande y a ella le encanta correr en el césped. Durante la noche, duerme con su dueña. Ambas hacen un gran equipo. Por supuesto, a pesar de que en ocasiones Mía sea odiosa, en esta ocasión quedó demostrado que tiene un gran corazón. Las mascotas son un tesoro maravilloso, y siempre, siempre, nos darán una razón para sonreír.

Mía proved to be a very nice and affectionate friend, so much so that she even surprised her owner. I liked enjoying the outdoors with her; The farm is quite big and she loves to run on the grass. During the night, he sleeps with her owner. They both make a great team. Of course, even though Mía is sometimes hateful, on this occasion it was shown that she has a big heart. Pets are a wonderful treasure, and they will always, always give us a reason to smile.
