Sonia just joined Hive!

Hello Hiveans, this is Adesuwa Sonia Ogiesoba boarding the Hive Train and wishes to be on this train for as long as and guess what? I love this particular train already😄😄

Forgive me for being all dramatic with my intro but then again who loves a boring intro? Nobody I guess.

I joined Hive two days ago courtesy of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition and I was told by my friend @ibbtammy that I need to make my introduction post so you all can know the new Hivean that just onboarded this train😊😊

Like I said earlier my name is Adesuwa Sonia Ogiesoba, but you can call me Suwa or Sonia, my friends call me that. I think I liked being called Suwa more because it gives some sort of softness that I cannot explain.😁 Suwa is derived from the last four alphabet in my name “Adesuwa” which in my dialect means “In the midst of wealth” It is a common name given to a Benin girl child. I am from the Southern region of Nigeria, specifically from Edo state.

I am very excited to be a part of this community. My friend had told me so much about the Hive blockchain and I couldn’t wait to be part of this wonderful community. She thought it wise for me to join Hive because of my passion for singing and writing, nevertheless I would also love to explore other communities.

I have lived all my life in Nigeria and my whole life has revolved around Edo state but that changed when I went for my service (NYSC) which is a compulsory one-year service of my country. During this service year, young graduates are posted to different parts of the country to carry out community service for a year. During my service year, I was posted to the Western Region of Nigeria, where I worked as a school teacher. It was a memorable year for me that I cannot forget in a hurry.

As someone who is a lover of family values, I love and cherish my family so much that I always put them first before anything, family is one thing you don’t joke with, because in your time of distress, while friends turn their back at you your family is always there to stand by you.
I am from a family of seven, my two wonderful parents, two handsome boys, and three beautiful girls of which I am the Oldest.

I graduated from the University of Benin, where I studied International Studies and Diplomacy, well if you ask if I am in that line in my current career as a diplomat”, I would say no because I am presently working with EDOGIS(Edo State Geographic Information Service)as an Administrative officer.

I am a lover of good music, if anybody asks me what makes me happy, I always say listening to good music as good music is good food to the soul, good music soothes my mind and clears my head.

There is one thing about myself that I am not proud of but since this is a safe space I will share it with you all Drum rolls🥁
I am an overthinker, I think everything and anything to the bottom, what you least expect to think of, Suwa thinks it. This is one thing I have always wanted to correct in my life, but I guess it's not that easy but I am doing my best regardless😃

I am a very jovial person but I can be that girl that wants her space sometimes as a lot of times we just want to have our “alone” time.

I love watching movies a lot, whenever I have the time I do not hesitate to watch movies.
My favourite colour is black even though people say black symbolizes not-so-good things, I love it regardless, as for me it symbolizes boldness.

I am a very hardworking lady, whatever I put my mind to do, I do it. Simply put, I am a goal-getter and, I love to dream big.

I hope to meet new people on this platform and make meaningful connections.
