Why people like to show-off their expensive items to others. Week-307

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great. It's a great Sunday and the weather is so pleasant at this time, it was raining a couple of hours ago and now the mild pleasing wind is blowing which I am enjoying sitting in my balcony. I do prefer to calm myself after a lot of exaggeration through some methods which can relax my mind.

Today's selected topic for #weekendexperiences contest is about the show off which people make. Most of us witnessed it in our daily lives as when we sit and interact with people they always try to show themselves more talented and better than others covering their achievements by sideline others which is practically not good.

It's very common, I have also mentioned about it in my previous post. This show-off is because of the financial difference in the society to make others feel they have less and unusually dragging them in this race to have competition. Even in my school or at my home I commonly see this.

In My mother's friends group they do have a lady who always come up with a branded item and make it show to other highlighting how expensive or good. Nowadays I do notice that people are after buying expensive things just to show others not for oneself.

I think I also consider this many times, whenever I am going to a party I do buy a new thing just to make others show that I do have new items but by the end of the party I realise all this was just for show of people not for myself.

But still even much more than I do people are after it. They feel like if I have an expensive item I can make people realise that I'm much more rich than them that's the whole idea behind this concept. They don't care about others option. We still do have many such people which enjoy living life by visiting different places not buying luxury items and show people off since they live for themselves.
