Something more about the Casona 1 Recreational Park | A WORK TO ENJOY WAITING FOR

My greetings to all, as I promised today I show you the second part about the Casona 1 Recreational Park, a public work that is still unfinished. Its construction is being carried out in Aragua State, Venezuela, at a really slow pace as I had exposed to you in the previous publication.

The most surprising thing is that the entrance is open for anyone who wishes to pass freely to enjoy what little there is of the facilities. Meanwhile, the workers are working without any impediment other than to avoid approaching the areas where they are doing any specific work, such as excavation, transfer of materials or any other relevant activity in a work in progress. The important thing is to avoid accidents, but it is the responsibility of visitors to do their part, because the risk is a private decision and must take care of their own safety.

Visiting the park in the middle of its slow construction perhaps sounds like a good opportunity to distract a little from the confinement and that is why there are those who take advantage of a time of recreation in this time that still has certain restrictions due to the pandemic. Children in particular need to stretch their muscles a bit by running and playing to enjoy the sun and the open air, but remembering to be obedient and avoid areas indicated by the builders. While there adult responsibility, children are welcome to enjoy themselves at the site as they look forward to the day when the construction of the Casona 1 Recreational Park is completed.

Mi saludo para todos, como les prometí hoy les muestro la segunda parte sobre el Parque Recreacional Casona 1, una obra pública que está aún sin concluir. Su construcción se lleva a cabo en el Estado Aragua, Venezuela, a un paso realmente lento como les había expuesto en la publicación anterior.

Lo más sorprendente es que la entrada está abierta para quien desee pasar libremente para disfrutar lo poco que hay de las instalaciones. Mientras tanto, los trabajadores laboran sin poner ningún impedimento más que evitar acercarse a las áreas donde estos se encuentran realizando alguna labor específica, como excavación, traslado de materiales o alguna otra actividad pertinente en una obra que está en ejecución. Lo importante es evitar accidentes, pero queda de la responsabilidad de los visitantes poner de su parte, pues el riesgo es decisión particular y hay que cuidar su propia seguridad.

Visitar el parque en medio de su lenta construcción quizás suena como una buena oportunidad para distraerse un poco del encierro y por eso hay quienes aprovechan de un rato de esparcimiento en esta época que aún tiene ciertas restricciones por la pandemia. Particularmente los niños necesitan estirar un poco los músculos corriendo y jugando para disfrutar del sol y el aire libre, pero recordando que hay que ser obedientes y evitar zonas que los constructores indiquen. Mientras allá responsabilidad de los adultos, los niños son bienvenidos a disfrutar en el lugar mientras esperan con ansias que llegue el día en que concluya la construcción del Parque Recreacional Casona 1.

The kids you will see having fun on site are my younger brother @alandesign and a cousin. They have the advantage of being obedient to the regulations, so they gain the trust to allow them to be in the park that is not finished. Well you have to be careful with the construction materials and tools strewn around the area.

The half-finished stadium, with its small empty bleachers and asphalt floor under the sun is perfect for running and playing a little sport.

Los niños que verán divertirse en el lugar son mi hermano menor @alandesign y un primo. Ellos tienen la ventaja de ser obedientes a las normativas, por eso se ganan la confianza para permitirles estar en el parque que está sin concluir. Pues hay que tener cuidado con los materiales y herramientas de construcción esparcidos por el área.

El estadio a medio terminar, con sus pequeñas gradas vacías y con su piso de asfalto bajo el sol es perfecto para correr y practicar un poco de deporte.

Two leafy Samán trees provide a spectacular natural adornment to the park and for years have been witnesses to the mismanagement of the construction site.

Dos frondosos árboles de Samán ofrecen un espectacular adorno natural al parque y por años son testigos de la mala gestión de la obra.

There are two small playground facilities with slides. This is another tempting option for children but avoid going near where there are workmen at work.

Existen dos instalaciones pequeñas de juegos con toboganes. Esta es otra opción tentadora para los niños pero hay que evitar acercarse donde haya obreros trabajando.

You can always get a few options for fun in the middle of the park under construction, while the workers do their chores in the distance.

Siempre se pueden conseguir algunas opciones para divertirse en medio del parque en construcción, mientras los trabajadores cumplen su faena a lo lejos.

In the midst of the fun and under the inclement sun it is inevitable to feel a little exhaustion but what affects more is the obvious neglect of a recreational park that, by government lethargy, is delayed. You have to walk and mingle with the weeds that grow all over the place while appreciating the long wait for construction materials to be put to their proper use. Specifically we can see a concrete walkway and adjacent is what will be a bike path which for now are just rough roads.

En medio de la diversión y bajo el sol inclemente es inevitable sentir un poco de agotamiento pero lo que más afecta es el abandono evidente de un parque recreacional que, por el letargo gubernamental, está retrasado. Hay que caminar y mezclarse junto a la maleza que crece por todo el lugar mientras se aprecia la larga espera que pasan los materiales de construcción para su debido uso. Específicamente podemos ver una caminería de concreto y adyacente está lo que será una pista para bicicletas que por ahora solo son caminos accidentados.

Encouragement is regained with the exercise machines. The children know how to take advantage of the sturdy metal apparatuses that are arranged at the edge of the unfinished tracks.

El ánimo se recobra con las máquinas para ejercicios. Los niños saben aprovechar los aparatos de metal resistente que están dispuestos al borde de las vías inconclusas.

As my brother and cousin enjoy their games, I raise my eyes and watch three birds soar through the sky as they pass by as if briefly enjoying the unfinished place as well.

Mientras mi hermano y mi primo disfrutan de sus juegos, alzo los ojos y veo tres aves surcar el cielo que pasan como si disfrutaran también brevemente del lugar sin terminar.

Something else magical I spot above the sky of Casona 1 Recreational Park and it is a double rainbow to herald the double hope reserved for the children waiting for the completion of the park.

Algo más mágico diviso sobre el cielo del Parque Recreacional Casona 1 y es un doble arcoíris para anunciar la doble esperanza reservada para los niños que esperan por la finalización del parque.

Although it is inevitable to highlight the governmental idleness to finish the work, the children leave the park with the illusion of returning.

Aunque es inevitable resaltar la desidia gubernamental para terminar la obra, los niños se van del parque con la ilusión de volver.

The entrance is open to anyone who wishes to visit and stands to welcome or farewell in apparent socialist equality under the fraudulent Venezuelan revolution.

La entrada está abierta para quien desee visitar y se yergue para dar la bienvenida o la despedida en aparente igualdad socialista bajo la fraudulenta revolución venezolana.
