A real street hit

With spring coming, this is a common sight in my country. In the parks of big cities and on the streets of smaller ones, in the yards of country houses.
Actually, I don't know if you see what I've captured. It kind of blends into the background and that's exactly why I took this picture on the one hand.
On the other, it's because of the time this time. All this happened too early this year, too early for spring, don't you think?
But let me start from the beginning. I took this photo, a real street hit, I would say, because of the strings hanging on the branches of this flowering tree. The threads are in red and white, so they blend in with the red background and the white flowers. But if you look at a detail, you will see them clearly.
So, these threads are given out on March 1st to be hung on people's hands, for health. A week later they should have been taken down and were hung on the trees, as is the tradition when the trees blossom. Which happened extremely early this year.
I don't remember any other year when it all happened so quickly.

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

This looks quite abstract to me and those traditions will imminently change at some point...

Does the tradition seem abstract to you, or the photo? 😃 I'm not sure that will change. Such national traditions do not change. Well, they may change to some faint degree, but they will not disappear, perhaps what I mean is that their disappearance is impossible. And if you mean that hanging those strings on trees will change, yes, I think one day they will ban that, by law, lol 😂
