A second of motionlessness

IMG_20220701_175907~2.jpg

It's very difficult to photograph butterflies, I've told you this many times before.

But something happened this year.

IMG_20220701_175908~2.jpg

I've photographed so many butterflies this year - not only as species, but also butterflies of the same species, but on different days and in different settings and surroundings, that now I'm not even sure I'll have the chance to show you every single one photo shoot.

The pictures may not be perfect, but I'm surprised they even exist, because:

I'm sure people who have ever tried to photograph these creatures will understand me 😁 (did you see what happened above).

I think this is one of the first times I've managed to photograph (no matter how) a butterfly this year. I can't say I tried very hard, because I couldn't even believe that this insect landed on this wild flower (it's beautiful, isn't it? It's become my favorite this year.) and stayed for a few seconds there. No more than a few seconds, of course. But that was enough though.

First of all, you may have noticed that butterflies like to hang out in the air in the hottest and strongest sunshine. Then when it is difficult for a person even to go outside, let alone try to take pictures. And even if he tries, nothing will come out of these photos, because of the light, which in general helps, but in this case only hinders.

Well, this one here, a scarce swallowtail, looks like it's wearing sunglasses, and that's why it loves flying in the sun so much. 🤭

Well, it stopped for a moment and awarded me a second of motionlessness.
Such a gesture on its part, don't you think 😄

I so badly want these creatures to truly trust me. All creatures. Because I wouldn't hurt anyone. I just want to photograph them. 😄 But I have my own theory about butterflies. They usually fool me. Well, probably not this year. This year was really special.

I think they are just "untrusty" due to the common cruelty in the world.
They are, what they are :)

Since I also often try to photograph butterflies, I know how difficult it is. Therefore respect for your beautiful shots.

What do you mean by that - having constantly your eyes half or totally closed? 😃

I really hoped these pictures will have such an effect on people. Because they are surprisingly successfully taken and I am very happy for the rare opportunity this butterfly gave me 😊
