Creatures from another planet

I know, cats are sent to us from another planet that has nothing to do with Earth, but sometimes I still think our Blacky is a reborn man, i.e. in his previous life he was human.

Because sometimes he acts like a human. And performs actions that are not inherent in cats.

Yes, I know that in my previous cat post I was telling you about the intelligence of cats and how our three boys act like babies most of the time. But that doesn't mean I said they're stupid. No way. There is no such thing as a stupid cat. They are all highly intelligent beings.

And what I said in the previous post doesn't really have anything to do with the current one. Because, have you ever seen a cat grab things with its paw and then put them in its mouth? Hmm, I think I've seen cats stir with their paws in a narrow and deep glass of milk, for example. But we don't talk about that.
We are talking about something that is easily accessible and the most amazing thing for me is to see a cat put it in its mouth just like a person picks something up with their hand.

On the other hand, he is very attached to me (as he is to his human father, but I am the one who pampers him the most), so he always feels my presence in the garden and feels the need to come and stand next to me. Just to be close to me.

His sister used to play the role of faithful dog before, but now he has taken that role.

And so he often stands next to me, just like a dog, to watch the sunset together.

Either he accompanies me on my daily rounds of the garden, catching grasshoppers while I discover and photograph its wonders, or he gets high in their secret garden and gets the whole covered in seeds. 🤭

Here he yawns. (But not because he's bored with me, no. I'm sure. 😄)

Happy #CaturDay to you all!

I've seen cats do that, usually ones used to hunting. Maybe it's a way of making sure the object is safe?

He's definitely special, his intelligence shines through :) You can see it in his eyes!

I've seen them do this too, but somehow the way our cat does it - just like a human and his paw looks a lot like a human hand at this point, seems extremely strange to me.
Thank you for the compliments! You know, when someone praises the children, the parents/human parents are very proud 😊

Ha ha, great 😄 But no. Blacky is a free-ranging semi-wild cat. He is not interested in any dumb human technology. He only cares about when I will feed him, of course. Nothing more.

Such a gorgeous cat. No, cats are not dumb at all, there's a reason the ancient civilizations which were more advanced than us respected cats and some, like the Egyptians went a little further and were worshiping cats, as we are to believe. The main thing, cats are friendly and they don't use their brains to plot attacks against humans, they learned how to dominate humans long ago, so they don't need to attack. :)

Ha ha, that's really an interesting theory. I've never dared to think cats could be dumb and I truly understand why ancient civilizations behaved like that towards them 😊

Maybe it's because we love them more than the other creatures we tend to believe that, nevertheless, the theory could be very much true. :))
