Low expectations

Remembering this wonderful building (and the wonderful reflections on it), I think today how everywhere one can be surprised by the creativity of people. Even where he least expects it. Because in this town, expectations are not high. The same applies to the nearby even smaller town, where expectations are even lower. But there are even bigger surprises there, even bigger architectural achievements, as I have shown and told you in other posts.

So, wondering where this post belongs - in an architectural or reflective thread, I put it in a blog thread that reflects the brief and occasional thoughts of the day prompted by some of my photos.
What do you think? Do you like the design? Keeping in mind that expectations are not high...

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

Expectations may be low but I am sure there are people with huge and brave dreams! :P

Really? Not sure. When one finds himself in such a place, there is a great danger of being sucked into the black hole of indolence and resignation that brings with it the death of all big and bold dreams... 😃

That isn't a self-reflection, I hope!

On the contrary. 😃 I always speak from my own experience, although in most cases my texts are also based on observations.
