Missing cat

Our precious princess went missing a couple of months ago.

IMG_20220213_225234.jpg

I don't know if you noticed that I started talking about the cats we care for, like three, not four, as they were before she disappeared.

IMG_20220213_225258.jpg

I miss her a lot, of course. I miss her constant presence on my windowsill, her curious activities, her capriciousness.

IMG_20220213_225320.jpg

Oh, yes, she was a capricious cat. Very wayward.

IMG_20220213_224550.jpg

She could lie for hours on the windowsill. That was the time when I could go out to her to pet her.

IMG_20220213_224339.jpg

She also kept me company in all my gardening activities.
And not only.

IMG_20220213_224425.jpg

She accompanied me every time I left the house to throw the garbage, or when I cleared the area around the house of the garbage thrown by the villagers.

IMG_20220213_224523.jpg

She was with me everywhere - my faithful dog, as I called her.

IMG_20220213_224624.jpg

On the other hand, she was so capricious that often, out of nowhere, she wouldn't let me pet her, she ran away from my hand and wouldn't let me touch her.
We thought at the time that someone had probably hit her to behave that way. To be afraid of my hand.

IMG_20220213_224704.jpg

She was a beautiful cat. But on the other hand, she could be very impudent and cunning too. And...
I prefer to think she's somewhere around. I prefer to think someone took her (because she's beautiful 😻). I prefer to think she's alive...
Because I do love her very much and terribly miss her!

Happy #CaturDay to you all!

She was an amazing creature, indeed 😻 With all her quirks like any cat. Sometimes I was very angry with her waywardness, but now I see how insignificant those moments were...

She is so pretty! I hope she just found a new windowsill to sit on for a while.

Thank you, Melinda! For so many days, and for months now, I had hoped to find her on the windowsill again in the morning. But that never happened. I really hope she has found an even more comfortable windowsill for her daily activities. 😸 I don't want to think about anything else. 😿

Maybe someone else loves her and is keeping her as an indoor cat and she can't escape! 🙀

Wow, that sounds creepier than the possibility that she died. 🙀
But actually not. Cats are extremely adaptable creatures, so I would be happy if this theory could be true.

Thank you for the token, dear @vedarg! I'm sending hugs and kisses to your beautiful ginger cat, whom I like so much 😻
I look forward to see photos and read updates from his life again. I hope he feels good. Because you see what happens to free-ranging cats in this country. 😿

Yes, in deed. I know how you feel since I also lost a wonderful cat years ago. Be strong and give all your love to the other beautiful cats who are living in your garden :)

I'm sorry to hear this. :( I hope she's okay. I read somewhere to leave the cat litter outside and to walk around the neighborhood with your dirty clothes on (so your scent would spread around) and maybe she picks that up and would come back, but only if she's lost or forgot her way home. Although you probably have done that and I do hope she comes back soon... I know how it feels to worry about your cat not going home for a while.

Thank you for your empathy, dear @hiddenblade! She is a free-ranging cat who knows the area very well. She is a wild and tough cat who has done a lot of mischief, even though she is female. And I think that's what led to her disappearance. We have experience with previous cats that have disappeared and never returned. This is the peculiarity of the area in which we live. That's why, after all this time, I don't have many illusions that she will return. Although I refuse to accept the fact that she may have died.

Thank you, @trincowski! It's always sad to lose someone in this world. But losing a pet, a cat is devastating 😿
