Today, while strolling through the square near my home, I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful white cap mushroom. This mushroom was so detailed, both top and bottom, that I was in awe of its beauty. Although its appearance was impressive, I have never intended to consume mushrooms, and this encounter only reinforced my respect for them.

The rain has been steady in our region these days, and it seems to have created the perfect conditions for mushrooms to flourish in the plaza. It's fascinating how moisture plays a crucial role in their growth, and it's a reminder of how intricate nature is.

In our local culture, we are not used to collecting and consuming mushrooms and fungi, as it can be a delicate and dangerous subject if you don't know the right varieties. So, I decided to take the opportunity to teach my youngest daughter about these wonderful creatures. We stopped to observe the mushroom carefully, and I explained to her that we should admire their beauty from afar, without touching or stepping on them, let alone trying to eat them, as some of them can be poisonous.

It was an educational and beautiful experience that reinforced my conviction to respect and preserve nature. Through nature observation, we can instill in our children respect for the environment and the importance of conserving and protecting the environment. Encouraging curiosity and love for nature from an early age is a gift we can give to future generations.
