Nuevamente mi parte favorita de crear, reutilizar materiales. Tenía un pedazo de tela de jeans que corté hace un tiempo, así que hoy haré un cintillo para dama o niña, con perla y piedras brillantes.
Antes no me gustaba usar cintillos porque me sentía acomplejada con mi frente, ahora combato esas inseguridad y me pongo lo que me gusta sin pensar en críticas.

Again my favorite part of creating, reusing materials. I had a piece of fabric from jeans that I cut some time ago, so today I will make a headband for lady or girl, with pearl and shiny stones.
Before I didn't like to wear headbands because I felt self-conscious about my forehead, now I fight those insecurities and wear what I like without thinking about criticism.

Materiales:

Cuando ya la tengo lista, voy a coser ambos extremos, haciendo la costura por dentro. Haré una costura de lado para que no se note cuando le demos la vuelta a la tela.

When I have it ready, I'm going to sew both ends, making the seam on the inside. I'll make a side seam so that it won't show when we turn the fabric inside out.

Voy a coser con hilo nylon algunas perlas planas que tienen base metálica, y si solo las pegamos es muy probable que se despeguen por el contacto del hierro y la tela. En este caso lo mejor es coserlas.

I am going to sew with nylon thread some flat beads that have a metallic base, and if we only glue them it is very likely that they will come unstuck due to the contact of the iron and the fabric. In this case the best thing to do is to sew them.

Luego vamos a pegar las más pequeñas que no necesitan ser cocidas, pero deben ir pegadas con pega B-6000 que es excelente para fijar este tipo de trabajos y no corramos riesgos de que dejemos los adornos por todas partes.

Then we are going to glue the smaller ones that do not need to be baked, but they must be glued with B-6000 glue, which is excellent for fixing this type of work and we do not run the risk of leaving the ornaments all over the place.

Ya tengo listo la parte superior del cintillo, ahora vamosa forrar la base que sostendrá el jean.

Voy a usar una cinta color azul turquesa para ir forrando el cintillo negro que va debajo.

I have the top part of the headband ready, now we are going to line the base that will hold the jean.

I'm going to use a turquoise blue ribbon to line the black headband that goes underneath.

Vamos a poner silicon frio en la parte interna del cintillo y vamos a ir forrando con la cinta turquesa lentamente. Para que quede bien prolijo.

We are going to put cold silicone on the inside of the headband and we are going to cover it with the turquoise ribbon slowly. So that it is very neat.

Con el cintillo listo vamos a pegarle el jeans que ya tenemos listos, ponemos el silicón en el medio para que se fije bien. En este caso sí podemos utilizar el silicón porque funciona bien para adherir tela contra tela.

With the headband ready we are going to glue it to the jeans that we already have ready, we put the silicone in the middle so that it is well fixed. In this case we can use the silicone because it works well to adhere fabric to fabric.

Ahora picamos el pedacito de jeans que queda más grueso en los extremos, y los vamos a cubrir con otro trocito de jeans pero sin costuras para que no moleste.

Now we chop the piece of jeans that is thicker at the ends, and we are going to cover them with another piece of jeans but without seams so that it does not bother.

Hemos terminado! Este proyecto es muy lindo, queda hermoso, y es muy fácil de combinar con los looks.
