Dear friends once again here first of all we are celebrating because the community is celebrating three years already with this great specific niche space where we feel very comfortable, congratulations and may there be many more.
In this opportunity I come to show you the final process after repairing the front end of a car, which is the alignment.
What is alignment in a car?
The alignment is a process that can be manual or computerized as it is nowadays in almost all establishments where adjustments and checks are made so that the wheels of the car are straight, so the car behaves in a stable way and the parts have a balanced use so as not to exert more or less pressure on one side or the other of the car.
The manual process is done with drop levels and a rope around the four tires with the intention of taking the rear tires as guides to place the front ones in position.
The computerized process the PC has a measurement data of all models and brands of cars and with sensors that are placed on the tires the computer guides the technician to bring the measurement to 0 degrees.
Now well let's talk a little bit about the process.
I took my car in for the alignment after replacing the shocks since I had previously done some repairs on the front end and because I didn't change the shocks right then and there I didn't take it in.
The first thing the technician does is to check that the front end has all good parts because if any part is damaged the play makes the alignment range not correct.
In this case everything was already good and the tires are new so there was no mishap.
After this step you go to the PC and program the model of the car so that it gives the factory measurements and proceed with the adjustment, in this case the degrees of misalignment were few.
The technician proceeds to fix the steering wheel with a special piece to keep it straight and to be able to adjust the graduation of the steering terminals.
Once the adjustments have been made the technician returns to the PC and verifies the values either to tighten everything back up or to continue grading.
Once the values are set to zero, adjust everything again and the process is done.
I took advantage that the car was on that bridge and perform a check under the car especially in the exhaust system that I have to send it to change and was making a diagnosis if only the resonator was damaged but I realized that the flexible is already expired and is leaking but this work will be later.
The alignment service has a cost of 25$ and it is recommended to do it every 20000kms or every time you do work on the front end, also when you feel that your car is turning slightly to one side is an indicator that your car needs alignment.

Queridos amigos una vez más por aquí primero que nada estamos de celebración ya que la comunidad está cumpliendo tres años ya con este gran espacio de nicho específico donde los afines nos sentimos muy a gusto, felicidades y que sean muchos más.
En esta oportunidad vengo a mostrarles el proceso final luego de reparar el tren delantero de un auto que es la alineación.
¿Que es la alineación en un auto?
La alineación es un proceso que puede ser manual o computarizado como es actualmente en casi todos los establecimientos dónde se hacen ajustes y chequeos para que las ruedas del auto estén derechas, así el auto se comporta de manera estable y las piezas tienen un uso equilibrado para no ejercer más o menos presión en un lado o el otro del auto.
El proceso manual se realiza con niveles de gota y una cuerda al rededor de los cuatro neumáticos con la intención de tomar los neumáticos traseros como guías para colocar los delanteros en posición.
El proceso computarizado la PC cuenta con una data de medidas de todos los modelos y marcas de autos y con sensores que se colocan en los neumáticos la computadora guia al técnico hasta llevar la medida a 0 grados.
Ahora bueno hablemos un poco del proceso.
Lleve mi auto a la alineación luego de reemplazar los amortiguadores ya que había realizado con anterioridad algunas reparaciones en el tren delantero y por no cambiar los amortiguadores en ese mismo momento no lo lleve.
Lo primero que hace el técnico es revisar que el tren delantero tenga todas sus piezas buenas porque si alguna pieza está dañada el juego hace que el rango de la alineación no sea correcta.
En este caso estaba ya todo bien y los cauchos están nuevos así que no hubo percance.
Luego de este paso se va a la PC y progama el modelo del auto para que está arroje las medidas de fabrica y proceder con el ajuste, en este caso los grados de des alineación eran pocos.
El técnico procede a fijar el volante con una pieza especial para que se mantenga derecho y el poder ajustar en la graduación de los terminales de dirección.
Una vez realizados los ajustes el técnico vuelve a la PC y verifica los valores ya sea para apretar todo nuevamente o para seguir graduando.
Al lograr colocar los valores en cero ajusta todo nuevamente y listo el proceso.
Aproveche que el auto estaba en ese puente y realice un chequeo por debajo de auto sobretodo en el sistema de escape que tengo que mandarlo a cambiar y estaba haciendo un diagnóstico si solo era el resonador dañado pero me percate de que el flexible ya esta vencido y tiene fuga pero ya este trabajo sera mas adelante.
El servicio de alineación tiene un costo de 25$ y se recomienda realizar cada 20000kms o cada vez que se haga un trabajo en el tren delantero, también cuando sientes que tú auto está girando levemente hacia uno de los lados es indicador de que tú auto necesita alineación.
