Dear friends once again here, these days I've been a little stuck with the mechanics as I'm finishing to assemble my getz but still does not turn on.

I must check all the electrical branch to connect because in my experience it lacks grounding the car to work properly, remember that this car has seven years disassembled and so you have to go easy.

On the other hand do not come to make a publication of the getz but rather an inventory that I made to my pickup to reactivate it, it requires even more work and has more years stopped, but this is the cherry on the cake, it was my grandfather's since new in 1969.

I have the entire brake system disassembled for replacement and maintenance, this truck is not operational since 2007 so we bought all new components two years ago but after the death of my dad I have not resumed those repairs.

I also have the interior disassembled because I am making all the new electrical system including the adaptation of a more modern steering rod to facilitate the handling and use of accessories.

For the brake system inventory I have the new brake pump, the hoses of the front calipers, the calipers and I did maintenance to each one, I have the new pipes just need to go giving the necessary curves.

On the rear brake system I already have the drums ground and new bands. I still need to buy the new brake cylinders and the handbrake hose.

In the image below I show you where the brake pump is located and the output of the pipes, the old pipes are still installed, this replacement of the pipes is to avoid future failures by the deterioration of the metal and as the whole new system will be why not the pipes as well.

When I finish the electrical system is that I can rededicate myself to the engine and start it, for this I must buy new spark plugs and spark plug wires, the oil for the engine and its filter.

Additional to get it to roll I need to install the cardan but for that I must buy the new crosshead, the front train is already repaired so once ready is ready that I did today should go out to roll as it should.

I must also repair the gas tank or I do not know if I adapt a more modern one since the original one goes inside the cabin behind the seat backrest being this a little uncomfortable with odors and limits the space in the cabin.

I also plan but this after it is already operational is to eliminate the fixed blade of the engine and place an electric fan with temperature valves, so I can gain 10% of performance to the engine power.

I hope to have it in operation before the end of this year.

Queridos amigos una vez más por aquí, en estos días he estado un poco trabado con la mecánica ya que estoy terminando de armar mi getz pero aún no prende.

Debo chequear todo el ramal eléctrico que conecte porque en mi experiencia le falta conexión a tierra al auto para que funcione correctamente, recordemos que este auto tiene siete años desarmado y por eso hay que ir con calma.

Por otro lado no venga ha realizar una publicación del getz sino más bien un inventario que le realice a mi pickup para reactivarla, está requiere más trabajo aún y tiene más años parada, pero está si es la cereza del pastel, era de mi abuelo desde nueva en el año 1969.

Tengo todo el sistema de frenos desarmado para reemplazo y mantenimiento, está camioneta no está operativa desde el años 2007 por eso compramos todos los componentes nuevos hace dos años pero luego de la muerte de mi papá no he retomado esas reparaciones.

También tengo el interior desarmado porque estoy realizando todo el sistema eléctrico nuevo incluyendo la adaptación de una caña de dirección más moderna que me facilite el manejo y uso de accesorios.

Para el sistema de frenos realizando el inventario tengo la bomba de frenos nueva, las mangueras de las mordazas delanteras, las mordazas ya les hice mantenimiento a cada una, tengo las tuberías nuevas solo falta ir dando las curvas necesarias.

En el sistema de frenos trasero ya tengo los tambores rectificados y las bandas nuevas. Me falta comprar los cilindros de frenos nuevos y la guaya para el freno de mano.

En la imagen que les dejo abajo les muestro dónde va ubicada la bomba de frenos y la salida de las tuberías, todavia están las tuberías viejas instaladas, este reemplazo de las tuberías es para evitar fallas futuras por el deterioro del metal y como va a estar todo el sistema nuevo porque no las tuberías también.

Cuando termine el sistema eléctrico es que puedo volver a dedicarme al motor y encenderla, para esto debo comprar bujías y cables de bujías nuevos, el aceite para el motor y su filtro.

Adicional para sacarla a rodar me falta instalar el cardan pero para ello debo comprar la cruceta nueva, el tren delantero ya está reparado así que una vez listo está lista que hice hoy debe salir a rodar como se debe.

También debo reparar el tanque de gasolina o no sé si adaptar uno más moderno ya que el de ella original va dentro de la cabina detras del espaldar del asiento siendo esto un poco incómodo con los olores y limita el espacio en la cabina.

También planeo pero esto luego de que ya esté operativa es eliminar el aspa fija del motor y colocar un electroventilador con válvulas de temperatura, así le puedo ganar un 10% de rendimiento a la potencia del motor.

Espero poder tenerla en funcionamiento antes de que finalice el año en curso.
