Dear cooffelovers friends, here I am again to share with you a new delivery telling you a terrible experience I had with a coffee but that later led me to a new product of which I am quite satisfied.
In my country Venezuela in certain parts and from time to time the government gives a benefit of an assorted bag with food that costs around 2.5$, in that bag comes assorted with various food such as rice, pasta, corn flour and wheat and sometimes less frequently brings a package of coffee of 100gr.
A few days ago that benefit arrived at my house with the advantage that this time it brought the coffee package, the coffee that came is not a brand that is one of my favorite to consume but if I dream to have them for any need that arises.
This weekend there was a lot of rain and my coffee was finished but I did not feel like leaving the house and I had the great idea of solving the problem with the coffee that was stored.
When I uncovered it the toasted smell was very strong, I make my coffee in my moka as usual and what a surprise I got, this did not even taste like coffee I do not know how to explain the unpleasant taste of this drink that I do not even call coffee, it tasted like burnt wood God knows what seeds they processed to make it look like coffee but really anyone reading this post should not even think of investing money or time trying the coffee ** Santa Ana**.
You know do not even think of consuming it, anyway I tell you that I spent my Sunday with that bad taste that left me this coffee but the rains were so strong that I could not go out to buy coffee at the store.
Monday morning came when I went out to my routine activities of taking the kids to school and then open my business but before I went to a store to buy coffee to drink in the store like every morning, well I tell you that as it was very early the store that was open does not sell the coffee that I always buy so I had to choose another coffee on the shelf to consume.
This time it wasn't so difficult to choose because I saw a coffee for sale whose aroma is in the environment where I live and it is prepared by a company very close to home that is characterized by having very good quality products, one of their coffees I mentioned before in a post that is the coffee La Estación. And the coffee I bought is called Alcatraz which is an excellent product that until recently was only produced for export by the company Ron Santa Teresa which is characterized by having the best rum in the world.
It is a coffee that deserves to be proud to be Venezuelan and also to know that it is produced a few meters from my house really fills me with satisfaction, the aroma, the packaging, the taste everything is wonderful, of course it is not the cheapest product on the market but it is worth paying for it.
What I can tell you is that I was able to get rid of that thorn that left me that bad coffee and enjoy this quality coffee, I was very but very satisfied and proud with this product.

Queridos amigos cooffelovers por aquí me encuentro nuevamente a compartir con ustedes una nueva entrega contándoles una terrible experiencia que tuve con un café pero que más adelante me llevo a un producto nuevo del que si estoy bastante satisfecho.
En mi país Venezuela en ciertas partes y de vez en cuando el gobierno otorga un beneficio de una bolsa surtida con comida que ronda los 2.5$, en dicha bolsa viene surtida con varios viveves como arroz, pasta, harina de maíz y trigo y algunas veces menos frecuente trae un empaque de café de 100gr.
Hace unos días llegó ese beneficio a mi casa con la ventaja de que está vez trajo el empaque de café, el café que vino no es una marca que sea de mis preferidas para consumir pero si sueño tenerlas para alguna necesidad que se presente.
Este fin de semana fue de muchas lluvias y se terminó mi café pero no tenía ganas de salir de casa y se me ocurrió la gran idea de solventar con el café que estaba guardado.
Al destaparlo el olor a tostado era muy fuerte, hago mi café en mi moka como siempre y vaya que sorpresa me he llevado, esto no sabía ni a café no sé cómo explicarle el desagradable sabor de esta bebida que no pienso ni llamar café, eso sabía a palo quemado sabrá Dios que semillas procesarán para que parezca café pero de verdad quien lea este post ni se le ocurra invertir no dinero ni tiempo probando el café ** Santa Ana**.
Ya saben no se les ocurra consumirlo, en fin les cuento que pase mi domingo con ese mal sabor que me dejó este cafe pero las lluvias eran tan fuertes que no pude salir a comprar café a la tienda.
Llegó la mañana del lunes al salir a mis actividades rutinarias de llevar a los niños a sus escuelas y luego abrir mi negocio pero antes pase por una tienda a comprar café para tomar en el negocio como todas las mañanas,pues les cuento que como era muy temprano la tienda que estaba abierta no vende el café que yo siempre compro así que me tocó escoger en el anaquel otro café para consumir.
Esta vez no me fue tan difícil escoger porque ví en venta un café que su aroma está en el ambiente donde yo vivo y es que es preparado por una empresa muy cerca de casa que se caracteriza por tener productos de muy buena calidad, ya uno de sus café los mencioné antes en un post que es el café La Estación. Y el café que compre lleva por nombre Alcatraz que es un producto excelente que hasta hace poco solo se producía para exportación por la empresa Ron Santa Teresa que se caracteriza por tener el mejor ron del mundo.
Es un café que merece sentirse orgulloso de ser venezolano y además de saber que se produce a pocos metros de mi casa de verdad que llena de satisfacción, el aroma, el empaque, el sabor todo le presta de maravilla, claro está no es el producto más barato del mercado pero si que vale la pena pagar por el.
Lo que si les digo es que pude quitarme esa espina que me dejó ese mal café y poder disfrutar de este café de calidad, quedé muy pero muy satisfecho y orgulloso con este producto.

Nice story to read with a happy ending today. I will remember Alcatraz as a great coffee in Venezuela but maybe a terrible prison in the United States!

Ese café está recién salido al mercado nacional antes solo se conseguía en la tienda dentro de la hacienda o en los stand del dutty free del aeropuerto

Definitivamente eres como mi mamá cuando se trata de tomar café con las 3 B, tiene un tacto y filtro para determinar y saber que café es bueno y que no, la verdad aquí no he visto ninguno de esas marcas de café pero me gustaría probar ese de Alcatraz, debe ser interesante que chimbo que tuviste que pasar por eso, lo bueno es que conseguiste una luz al final del túnel en cuanto al café 😅😋😎, que buen post suerte éxitos y bendiciones 😘😎

Amigo es común que lo que provee el gobierno es de mala calidad, así me contó mi hermana que probo el café que le trajo la caja, pero era otra marca que es malísimo, yo ni se me ocurrió probarlo porque siempre compro café de calidad, ese que promocionas se ve bueno como todos los que dicen gourmet. promocione uno no hace mucho llamado Caripe es rico, estuve en la victoria y pase por la hacienda Santa Teresa no tuve en gusto de conocerla. Me alegra que al fin tu paladar se degusto, con excelente café.
