January surprises - Sorpresas de Enero
Blessings, friends of liketu. I continued with my monthly summary, a habit I acquired last year that has proven beneficial for my memory and for measuring the achievements and failures of each stage.
January was a month that went by very quickly, which was strange because it always seemed to last 50 days. This time, it flew by and brought me a lot of surprises, uncertainty, and calm.
In the first few days, specifically in the early hours of January 3, something happened that I cannot fail to mention as a Venezuelan. I felt a mixture of concern, pain, and joy. For the first time, a foreign country bombed my country, destroying important places such as a university's technology center. Innocent people died, but this event also brought hope and the joy of political change.
The first 15 days of January were so unexpected and nerve-wracking that I didn't take any photos. I forgot to record things, but after that date, I began to enjoy the surprises.
I started walking and exercising some days with my aunt, others with my brother, and this February, I will start walking with my dog Duke again.
On one of my walks, I explored part of the community where I live, climbed the hill, and visited places I didn't know existed, looking for a way to photograph the lagoon. It was cloudy that day, and I loved how the clouds looked in the landscape.
On a rainy night, a cute little kitten came home, a baby that I decided to adopt. The transition wasn't easy because Duke barked at him a lot and the cat wanted to sleep in his bed, but now they love each other like two brothers.
This month, I also went shopping, ha ha ha. I tried on many pairs of jeans and bought one pair. I also tried on a loose, wide-leg jumpsuit like the ones that are popular here. I liked it, but I didn't buy it, and now I regret it.
And the last surprise of January was meeting up with a friend after nine years without seeing each other in person. She lives in Brazil and is visiting Venezuela. I'll give details about that encounter in another post.

Bendiciones amigos de liketu, continuó haciendo mi resumen mensual, un hábito que agarré el año pasado y me resultó beneficio para mi memoria y para medir los logros y fracasos de cada etapa.
Enero fue un mes que pasó muy rápido, algo extraño porque siempre me parecía que duraba 50 días, esta vez pasó volando y me trajo un montón de sorpresas, incertidumbre y calma.
Los primeros días, específicamente en la madrugada del 3 de enero pasó algo que no puedo dejar de mencionar siendo venezolana, tuve una mezcla de preocupación, dolor y alegría. Por primera vez un país extranjero bombardeó mi país, destruyó lugares importantes como el centro de tecnología de una universidad, murieron inocentes, pero también este hecho trajo esperanza y la alegría de un cambio político.
Los primeros 15 días de enero fueron tan inesperados y nerviosos que no saque fotos, se me olvidó registrar cosas, pero después de esa fecha comencé a disfrutar de las sorpresas.
Empecé a caminar y hacer ejercicio unos días con mi tía otros con mi hermano y en este mes de febrero volveré a caminar con mi perro Duke.
En unos de los días de caminata exploré parte de la comunidad dónde vivo, subí el cerro y estuve en lugares que no sabía que existían buscando una forma de fotografiar la laguna, ese día estuvo nublado y me encantó como se veían las nubes en el panorama.
En una noche de lluvia, llegó a casa un lindo gatito, un bebé que decidí adoptar, la transición no fue fácil porque Duke le ladraba mucho y el gato quería dormir en la cama de él, pero ya se quieren como dos hermanos.
En este mes, también me fui de compras ja, ja, ja me probé muchos pantalones jeans, y me compré uno, también me probé un mono suelto de tela ancho como los que se están usando por aquí, me gustó, pero no lo compré, ahora me arrepiento.
Y la última sorpresa del mes de enero, fue encontrarme con una amiga después de 9 años sin vernos en persona, ella vive en Brasil y está de visita en Venezuela, de ese encuentro en otro post daré detalles.
Si enero me sorprendió espero que febrero me traiga paseos, amor y prosperidad, y te deseo lo mismo querido lector, feliz mes, gracias por llegar al final.

Feliz mes! A mí enero se me hizo eterno; pero para todo lo que ha pasado si me pareció corto (algo contradictorio jejej) yo aún estoy procesando todo lo sucedido . Por cierto, qué belleza que hayas adoptado al gatito, es precioso y los reencuentros con viejas amistades siempre son motivo de alegría . Que este mes sea tan agradable como enero 🫂🔥
