July Adult Holiday✨

Holidays are never excessive because there's never a time you'll willingly tell someone to rest and all things been equal he or she won't thank you immensely because to rest is golden.

Every blessed day, workers get up thinking of how the day will go and even before they finish their thoughts, they are already out of the streets hustling and bustling to make ends meet for their respective families and children.
They barely have time for themselves because of the parenthood role they have taken.

It has gotten so bad that even on rest day such as Sundays, parents still engage in one or two activities and you won't blame them because the constant inflation and economic crisis has made everyone to be on his or her toes.

The Public holidays we have are much indeed but then, they are mostly for children as workers not just civil servants but self-employed workers go to work on those days, so what if there was a Congress for all workers to decide on when should be a public holiday for them.... A week that they will just have to stay at home, wake up, watch movies and just sleep back... Just absolute rest, What will be my suggestion?

The First Week Of July, that will definitely be my response.
I will campaign for the adult holiday to be always in the first week of July and I have my reasons.

There are twelve months in a year and even from January 2 every year, some parents are already at work which invariably means that they have been working from January down till June, that's a straight six months of struggling....
I feel it will be better to take a week break in the next month to refill the energy required to finish up the second half of the year, don't you think so?

Also, personally I will prefer this week as it will give me the opportunity to always celebrate my birthday in style without worrying about work, hehe....

Meanwhile, this isn't a festive period and the cost of goods and services will be very cheap unlike the known festive periods like Easter and Christmas holidays when the cost of goods and services keep skyrocketing to the moon.

You know our works makes us too focused on what we do right?
hence, we just keep cycling over and over within the same field of study having little or no time to work outside the box, this will create a good avenue for me to learn about other things not related to my work.. who knows, I might broaden my horizon and then have other sources of income.

Nonetheless, I have my worries about this adult holiday though..

How will these families survive considering the fact that most of these parents who even need these holidays will still get to work even on these said holidays would it come to past because they are self-employed parents and would never make money except they get to work.

Everyday won't be holiday but then, we could always make out time to rest; the whole aim of holiday is to rest anyway.

Remember, All work no play makes jack a dull boy.
