Myths about village trees, Could it be true?

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog today....

What have you been hearing about village trees especially those cashew and mango trees?
Some of these stories can't really be explained but it works, lol.

Before now, I have been hearing that when you come to village and there's no network, you should look for a cashew or mango tree and climb it and boom! You'll miraculously get network 😂
It's really funny, interesting and unbelievable at the same time.

During the course of our training in medical school, we are often posted to one of the hospital's outpost in the village to learn about the various ways the villagers take care of their health and how they manage their ecosystem in general and also advice them in a better way for the ones they aren't doing right.

Obukpa in Nsukka local government area, Enugu state is the village we always go for this medical posting.
I asked our coordinator a question about why this particular village is the only village we get to visit because honestly speaking, if our objective is actually to learn about the way villagers take care of their health, we should be rotating the villages we visit rather than making our study objective just a particular village.

That was when I got to know the reason behind this repeated visit to this village, the coordinator told me that the village sacrificed a great part of their land for the University to be built on and this was a way of saying thank you to them; a way of giving back to them in our little way and that was the reason why before graduating, we visit there for this posting.

Last week Tuesday, it was my batch's turn to be posted for the rural posting and just like most villages here with a lot of network challenges, the village wasn't excluded.

I entered immediately and my whole network entered emergency as if the networks have been jammed, lol.
I can't even make nor receive calls just was able to keep watching my movies, lol.

After the first night, I was deeply in need of network because I needed to keep my page alive so I began the tour of scouting for network...
I walked down a great length looking for one but couldn't even get a stable position rather it kept fluctuating.

After a while, I saw a cashew tree and subconsciously remembered how my mum will always run to the cashew tree to receive calls because in her words, that's where the networks in the village come together
I personally knew this wasn't true but at that point, I didn't have options left and I had to try it out....

I quickly went under the tree and just like magic, networks came.
I left the tree and it disappeared, lol..... I didn't even think much about it, rather I switched on my network to refresh my messages but later that night, I couldn't stop thinking about this mystery.

Well, I've been coming here anytime I want to access the network or want to make calls but then why exactly is it so,lol

Do you have a similar experience or have you heard similar stuff?

Lol. What is this one again?
I can actually understand this and I don't usually feel like there's anything suspicious. Just like we know the rooms and positions in our house that has better network reception is the same in this case.

This doctor in the making sha.😆
