Greetings, everyone! How are your latest ranked battles going? Are they going well, poorly, or just so-so? As the end of the season approaches, many of you are likely fighting to secure your spots on the leader board. However, in this post, I'd like to introduce a new ability idea that I believe could inject even more excitement into the game. This concept has the potential to bring in fresh strategies and reshape the game's meta. If this has caught your attention, please read on to learn more. Let's check it out!

New Ability Idea: Ability Steal and Soul Mend
New Ability Idea: Ability Steal

When this unit successfully hits a target, the attacker will acquire the ability of the target. This ability can be applied only once. If the target possesses multiple abilities, the ability to be stolen will be chosen at random.

The stolen ability can be removed by Dispel ability.
The stolen ability will be removed upon Rebirth.
New Ability Idea: Soul Mend

When this unit dies, it gives 1 additional HP to all allied units.
The additional HP will be already in effect after the unit dies.

Ability Steal:

This ability is most likely to be granted to monsters with low speed. With this feature, a regular monster could become formidable if it manages to acquire a valuable ability. Imagine if it were to steal the "Bloodlust" ability while possessing the "Heal" ability. In such a scenario, it could rival the power of the Quora Towershead and potentially become nearly invincible in battle. However, the drawback of this ability is that the monster must strike the target first. Utilizing Byzantine Kitty might be necessary to ensure a successful attack on the target. Additionally, this ability would synergize well with the "Aim True" ruleset, which guarantees that both Melee and Ranged attacks unfailingly hit their intended targets. It's important to note that this ability would prove ineffective against opponent monsters that lack any abilities, like Nerissa Tridawn.

Soul Mend:

Soul Mend is the opposite of the ability Redemption. While Redemption deals 1 damage when the unit dies, Soul Mend gives 1 HP to allied units instead. This ability proves highly advantageous when the receiving monster possesses the "Heal" ability or when your lineup includes healing abilities like "Tank Heal" or "Triage." Furthermore, it synergizes well with the "Born Again" ruleset, effectively doubling the HP received by your lineup.

As time progresses and new cards are introduced, players of the game are continuously creating new strategies and refining gameplay. It's undeniable that in the upcoming days, new cards and abilities will be introduced. This anticipated development is more likely to infuse the game with heightened excitement, particularly for veteran players who eagerly anticipate new things.
