Fly high and sail on the sea - Thailand Travel | Koh Phangan

Hey Hivers! How's it been? I hope you are all doing marvelously. My apologies for the delay. Here’s the next part.

We arrived at Surat Thani Airport at around 2 o’clock. and then looked for an agency ferry going to Koh Phangan (an island in the southeast of Thailand). We booked a private vehicle going to the port terminal and, together with it, we booked tickets for the ferry. There was a bus, but we didn’t wait for it so that we could catch the second to last trip, which was at 4 in the afternoon. The ride going to the port was an hour and arrived on time, minutes away from sailing. It was a three-to-four-hour sail on the sea going to the island.


The view was scenic and so amazing. Nature at its finest. Before traveling in Thailand, we also check the weather in Bangkok and Koh Phangan. It was said to have rained the entire week, and we read many reviews about them being stranded on an island. But fortunately, the weather was good. We bought food at the ferry and ate snacks; they had a canteen there, and the ferry was huge. It has a spa inside too, but you have to book it prior to booking your tickets because it’s first come, first served.

We arrived at sunset already. The view was spectacular, and I started to feel the island vibe. We contacted the hotel to send us a taxi for a ride going to their accommodation. We also booked this hotel on Agoda. The name was The Nidrha Boutique Resort. It is convenient because it is near Thong Sala Pier and budget-friendly. We stayed there for the night because we planned to transfer to another hotel on the other side of the island.

We arrived at the resort and got settled in our room. We rested for a while and then freshened up. After an hour or so, we went out to look for a place to eat our dinner. We strolled around the place. There are many places to eat and chill. many pubs, restaurants, and shops. We are located at the center of Koh Phangan. We went to a burger restaurant, which also serves vegetarian food. We chose vegetarian and built our own burger, ordered, waited, and ate. It was so delicious and one serving was enough for two people.

After eating, we walked and headed back to our place. But first, we stopped by a 24-hour convenience store to get some drinks and double-check the foods we had purchased earlier that day.

We bought 2 bottles and talked and planned for the day after. We are going to stay at another hotel for one night, and then the next day, we will go back to this resort again. We dozed off because we had to wake up early the next day and enjoy the place before heading to the next wander.

It's a fun trip, my friend, there must be a lot of interesting stories and extraordinary tourist attractions. I hope I can also go to this place.

Seeing such a sight is of course very pleasing to my eyes and of course I am very happy to be able to see such a place. Hopefully I can visit someday.

It looks a fun trip. I like the view of the island from the ferry.

Just can't help but notice their electrical wiring. It's kind of the old 110-220 volt system. 😊
