π Packing Cakes For Pchum Ben Holiday π«
Yesterday, we made Ansam cakes to take to the pagoda on Pchum Ben day and shared them to other people in the village and ate together. My sister-in-law woke up in the morning to wash the sticky rice and beans and leave them to dry. And we help each other clean the banana leaves and cut them.
Then my sister add ingredients to the sticky rice and yellow beans.
We help each other pack the cakes and tie it. My aunt and most of the villagers made ansam cake yesterday. After I help my sister in law already and my sister and I were helping my aunt in the village.
We took the ansam cake to cook with my aunt because she has a big pot.
When we got to her house, she had already packed some cakes, so we just helped to tie the cakes.
After I help my aunt tied cake already and we went to help the other people in village.
This house just made three kilo of sticky rice but they are do not know how to pack it.
These are my cakes, my aunt and my sister packing and tied. After we held them already and they took those cakes to cook.
My sister and I came back to my brother house and we saw the other people packing cakes also. We just stopped for taking about some stories and we laugh together. They house have a lot of coconut old and one coconut is only 800 riel, it is equal to 20 cents. She gives me three old coconut for take the house.

All the necessities for cooking such as tomatoes, cayenne pepper, red and green chilies, vegetables such as spinach, kale are also easy to obtain because we grow them ourselves in our yard. Not to mention there's chicken, duck and also coconut as you said. Everything is easy to find in the village π
Yes people there when they need something they just go and ask to borrow them. People even borrow salt from each other. I really like it there because when you donβt have something you can borrow from your neighbors. Have a nice day.
