Ta Khmav Market, Cambodia 🍐🍎🥦🥑
Hello everybody! Yesterday I went to Ta Khmav market with my sister. My sister has a small business in her house. So when she go outside home she always is fast to come back. I wanted to get some pictures from this market to make my post on Hive.
My sister wondered why I walked so slowly and took pictures. The people in my country usually not take pictures at the market. They love to take pictures in beautiful places. When I walking I see the people selling guava, it’s my favorite fruit. I have not eat it a long time already, I so excited to buy some. One kilo is 5000r = $1.25 USD.
This is a man selling bananas. I did not ask for price because I don’t want to buy it, but I know it’s cheap.
There are so many different fruits, so I just bought some of my favorite fruits because I can’t eat all of them. I will buy other fruits next time.
Aww, these are my favorite sour fruits. I bought them for 2000r = $0.50 USD.
We buy vegetables, mushrooms and avocados.

These are sesbania javanica flowers. I love to eat them in salads and pickles. These mushrooms 300g for 5000r = $1.25. I bought it to make vegan soup with baby corn.
These are pickle tamarinds, they are my favorite too. These are azadirachta indica flowers. The people in my country love to eat them so much, but have some people do not like them too.
I just buy vegetables in one place and I have so much vegetables.
My sister buy duck eggs and chicken eggs. 10 duck eggs for 5000r and 10 chicken eggs for 3000r. The people like to buy duck eggs more than chicken eggs. The eggs you see are black and are salty duck eggs. My little girl she don’t know it and she said that "these duck eggs come from the ground". That made the seller laugh.

Oh my goodness! So much to chose from! You must feel like in heaven! I would too, especially with those prices, lol. We have great too here in Canada, but everything s expensive! Especially during the winter!
Yes, I feel like I'm in heaven. Now, when I want to cook I have most or all the ingredients I need. Well, some stuff that is cheap here are expensive there and some stuff that is expensive here are cheap there. Have a good day.
I guess, somethings that is imported from Canada or U.S must be expensive there. But, the main thing is you have everything you need for your cooking. I am so happy about that and I can't wait to see those delicious dishes 💚😋💚
Oh really you love guava. Me too. But here in our place we don't buy it. We just asked the permission of the owner of the guava tree. And were the one who climb in the tree to get it. There are lots of guava tree here in the Philippines.😊
Yes, here too if you know the owner of the tree and ask them for permission they will give too. Here if the owner or someone close her the owner know how to climb she/he will climb for us. Have a wonderful day.

I noticed that market in the asean looks almost the same. Easy to walk and have variety of selection. Just like in Thai. Really happy to see your daughter smile during at the market ☺️ and glad to see all of you home and enjoying local lifestyle 😊
Yes, and ASEAN has a lot of similar things like food, cultures, languages. Monkey-B is very happy here and she eats a lot too.

Oh wow, the fresh market is so similar in Manila. My Mom and I always went to the market. In Vienna, we also have a fresh market but mostly in Summer, otherwise the sellers also have a stall where they can close when they are finish for the day. In Andalusia, fresh market is every Monday.

Finally, you're now in your homeland. I also love guava when I was a kid but not fan when I get older. My taste bud has changed.
