Blast from the past - Acropolis Rally Greece 1995

Top class in nineties in World Rally Championship was A8 which were four wheel drive cars, turbo charged with 2litre engines. There was also additional sub-Championship called F2 with front wheel driver cars and atmospheric engines.

I must admit that these cars were very interesting to watch and follow but mostly on tarmac because for good traction on gravel, there should be four wheel drive machinery.

Also during nineties, there were events where only F2 waa counted for points but 4WD cars were allowed to compete. I found Acropolis Rally Greece 1995 where F2 class was counted for points but you can see some top drivers like Miki Biasion, who was WRC champion in late eighties (twice).
