Season 2005 was special in many ways ans especially because of so many different manufacturers. And to be honest, rally cars looked like saloon cars except rear wing which was there as important aero stuff.

Colin McRae was back for this rally and with Škoda which car immediately started towork better after three days of testing with Colin.

But this rally was also a sad one because Markko Martin's co-driver Michael 'Beef' Park got killed in a horific accident.
