BREAKING NEWS: Toyota confirms Oliver Solberg for WRC1 seat in 2026

As expected, after he won WRC Rally Estonia this year in an one off outing with Rally1 machinery, Toyota signed Oliver Solberg for 2026.

He also won the WRC2 Championship this year as an add to everything else. OK, Toyota Yaris Rally2 is a benchmark this year. Even Škoda can't match their speed and reliability this season so that just helped him to win the title.

He has a father who won WRC 2003 title and who can be a better mentor then your own who you don't have to pay lots of money to coach you every day.

Anyway, Oliver Solberg is the new Toyota WRC1 signing and we can only say congratulations to Oliver. You deserved it (this time)...
