There was some heavy gossip around the rallying world about bad situation in that part of the world but now it's official - last round of World Rally Championship is cancelled because Toyota and Hyundai have internal policy about never sending their stuff to countries where there is a possibility of war.

There was also a possibility of potential replacement event instead of Saudi Arabia, and it was ex-WRC event Rally Catalunya Spain.

It seems that they could not agree about everything needed so WRC promoter decided to cut this season to 13 events in 2026.

Yeah, Sardinia Rally will conclude this season. Let's hope for best there... 🙏
