Documentary rally video of the day - My Life (about rally career of Andreas Mikkelsen)

Hi, friends!

I wrote a lot about Norwegian rally star Andreas Mikkelsen who won two titles this season - WRC2 title and European Rally Championship which was quite impressive.

Yeah, that guy still has the speed but there is no works seats available at the moment and Mikkelsen is not keen to pay for a seat which is something I agree with him.

He comes from a very wealthy family and he had a chance to try everything in the most professional level because his father was keen to pay for it. But that doesn't mean that Mikkelsen is without a talent. Anyone who can win three rallies in the World Rally Championship is super fast and really great driver.

It's just a problem that there is no enough works teams at the moment so he doesn't have any other choice then to defend a WRC2 title next season waiting for some Rally1 chance to happen.

Did you know that his father bought complete team Ramsport from England when Andreas was probably still teenager just that his son can drive World Rally Cars?
Yeah, that's true. Ramsport was Ford's satellite team at that time and they had their Ford Focus WRC cars so it was easier for Mikkelsen sr to buy the whole team then to rent the cars and give the money to nothing which is not that cheap in motorsport.

Mikkelsen had very successful career but he is still 32 and he has lots of years in front of him. The only thing he must is to be as fast as possible in WRC2 class and be first in line when it happens.

Enjoy the documentary...
