WRC Rally Islas de Canarias 2026 started today with the shakedown and short super special stage held on the stadium in front of thousands of spectators.

Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) topped the super special stage in front of his team mate Sami Pajari and fastest WRC2 driver Roberto Dapra (Škoda).

Five Toyota cars were fastest at the shakedown with Oliver Solberg fastest in front of Takamoto Katsuta, Seb Ogier, Sami Pajari and Elfyn Evans, showing that Toyota machinery is just far away in front of the competition.

Real action starts tomorrow with long special stages. Let the best win - as always...
