Last test by Ogier with Toyota Yaris Rally1 ahead of WRC Monte Carlo Rallye 2022

Eight time World Rally Champion Seb Ogier is aiming for a ninth win at Monte next week and no one else has this number of win as him. Only guy with the same name but more WRC titles is close - Seb Ogier has seven wins at Monte and if he will be able to win this year's Monte, they would be equal.

But these guys don't have the same number of testing days as other members of their teams. Ogier is still with Toyota and Loeb has a deal with M-Sport Ford at least for Monte this year.

Loeb just finished Dakar Rally yesterday and he is on his way to Europe at the moment. He didn't have testing days from before the Christmas. And Ogier tested yesterday with Toyota at full Monte snowy and icy conditions. I guess that this will be a problem for Loeb because they don't have enough knowledge with the new Hybrid Rally1 cars and every single mile is a bonus when you look at the bigger picture.

Seb Ogier has a ne co-driver this season after Julien Ingrassia retired from the sport after 8th co-driver's WRC title with Ogier. New co-driver for Ogier is Benjamin Veillas, very experienced guy who was almost always with Ogier at the testing sessions.

It's not an easy thing to change a co-driver but they are professionals and they would have to cope with that any way they know.
