Martinš Sesks leads ERC Rally Six Cities North of Portugal 2026

Last event of European Rally Championship is on and I don't remember when was the last time that European series finished later then top World Rally Championship. OK, it is because of Saudi Arabia event that WRC was shortened this year, but anyway, it is good that we have something to follow these days.

Rally Six Cities in Portugal is wonderful gravel event based on some of the roads from WRC, especially from Fafe region which I saw when making a notes there in 2024.

It is still clearly visible difference between WRC and ERC guys. Experience counts and no one can argue against that. WRC1/WRC2 regulars are in top four place overall and ERC guys can hardly fight against them.

So first full day of competition is behind them. Martinš Sesks (Škoda) leads the rally in front of Roope Korhonen (Toyota) and Pablo Sarrazin (Lancia). Jan Solans (Škoda) is in 4th place ahead of ERC regular Simone Tempestini (Škoda) which is 5th overall.

Rally is still on and anything can happen before finish. Let the best win - as always...
