Onboard rally video of the day - Alexey Lukyanuk with Citroen C3 R5 at ERC Rally Hungary 2

Hi, friends!

Alexey Lukyanuk, as one of the fastest drivers in European Rally Championship, is out of the sport for the last two seasons and we don't know when he will come back. He decided to stop for some time and we have to respect his decision.

I watched his early rally onboards from a days with Opel Astra Group A which were brutal. He had a lot of retirements because of various reasons but the speed was there. When he started to drive Mitsubishi, he showed that speed.

And later, when he started with R5 machinery, he started to win the rallies overall. That was it.

He won two European Rally Championship titles, first one in 2018 with Ford Fiesta R5 and the 2nd once in 2020 with Citroen C3 R5. He was very well known as a guy with brutal speed but with lots of shunts which is quite normal because he would risk everything on every corner of the rally.

Anyway we have an onboard from the last rally of 2019 in Hungary when he lost the title to Chris Ingram because of the flat tire on the last special stage of the rally.
