Season 2022 WRC cars should cost 500 000€

WRC bosses in cooperation with FIA made some decisions about new generation of the World Rally Cars which should be introduced in season 2022.

Big news are that they won't have central differential (current WRC cars have electronic center diff), there will be only five-gears gearbox (now cars have six-speed gearbox) and aero stuff should change a little bit.

I already wrote that cars will keep current engines which cost around 150 000€ and there will be added electric motor unit with battery. I guess that engine is the most expensive part of the car.

Also development should be under more control and engine development could be stopped in the recent future.

From FIA WRC boss we heard that target price for season 2022 WRC cars should be 500 000€ which is good when we compare it with 750 000€ which is price of current WRC car.
