Seb Ogier leads WRC Rally Islas de Canarias 2026 after first full day of competition

Five Toyota Rally1 cars in front of everyone else, that's enough for Hyundai Motorsport boss Cyril Abiteboul to be fired.

Yeah, Seb Ogier leads Toyota efforts in front of Oliver Solberg, Sami Pajari, Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta. Katsuta is a Championship leader and he plays a safe game for now because he knows that next event is on gravel and Championship leader opens/cleans road on gravel which is not place to be.

Pajari has matured and improved so much, so the first win could be behind a corner. But rally is still very long and anything can happen.
