Personally, I do not consider myself a person who watches a lot of television in a very excessive way, in fact I have the habit of turning it on and have it only in the background depending on the channel that is in broadcast, either while I clean the room, or work or do other things, but I do not always give it an inordinate priority unless it calls my attention to a program and if it is the case would have to be programs from channels like History Channel 2 or Discovery or Animal planet I do not get out of there much, however I admit that a few months ago while varying at that point, I called my attention a little bit certain content that is transmitted in Cartoon Network, and it is about the program of which I will speak in question, at first instance when I saw it only by mere curiosity it did not call so much my attention and even more considering, that I did not make me many expectations seeing that the content that was emitted in that channel low considerably for my standards, with exception of some series and as some days passed at that moment with this series in particular as I passed the channels, the truth is that it called my attention completely and it caught my attention.

Certainly the world of Craig, although much of the things that relate and show or revolve around the life, creativity, decisions and actions of some kids in a creek and all that surrounds it, has aspects to take into consideration of good value and weight, and these are shown in a subtle way and even a little more significant, depending on the chapters and themes in question, but I'll talk about this later, it really covers a lot to touch so many areas linked to morals, ethics, responsibilities and interpersonal and family growth and discovery that are very worthwhile, as well as the use of creativity and imagination that I personally like a lot as it is shaped, so ladies and gentlemen this time I bring you a series that for me at this point and in this channel is worth, and which is entitled the world of Craig so let's start.

Yo en lo personal, no me considero una persona que vea mucha televisión de forma muy excesiva, de hecho tengo la costumbre de encenderla y tenerla solo de fondo dependiendo del canal que este en emisión, ya sea mientras limpio el cuarto, o trabajo o hago otras cosas, pero no siempre le doy una prioridad desmedida al menos que me llame la atención un programa y de ser el caso tendrían que ser de programas de canales como History Channel 2 o Discovery o Animal planet no salgo mucho de ahí, sin embargo admito que hace unos meses atrás mientras variaba en ese punto, llamo un poco mi atención cierto contenido que se transmite en Cartoon Network, y se trata del programa del cual halare en cuestión, a primera instancia cuando lo vi solo por mera curiosidad no llamo tanto mi atención y mas aun considerando, que no me hacia muchas expectativas viendo que el contenido que se emitía en ese canal bajo considerablemente para mis estándares, con excepción de algunas series y a medida de que pasaron algunos días en ese momento con esta serie en particular a medida de que pasaba los canales, la verdad es que llamo completamente mi atención y me atrapo.

Ciertamente el mundo de Craig, aunque gran parte de las cosas que se relacionan y muestran o giran en torno a la vida, creatividad, decisiones y acciones de unos niños en un arroyo y todo lo que le rodea, tiene aspectos a tomar en consideración de buen valor y peso, y estos se muestran de manera sutil y hasta un poco mas significativa, dependiendo de los capítulos y temas en cuestión, pero ya hablare de esto más adelante, realmente cubre mucho para tocar tantos ámbitos ligados a la moral, ética, responsabilidades y crecimiento y descubrimiento interpersonal y familiar que valen mucho la pena, así como el uso de creatividad eh imaginación que en lo personal me gustan mucho como se plasma, así que damas y caballeros esta vez les traigo una serie que para mí a estas alturas y en este canal vale la pena, y la cual se titula el mundo de Craig así que comencemos.

The world of Craig as it is known in Spanish America or as Craig of the Creek in the United States, is considered an animated television series and broadcast by Cartoon Network which was created by Matt Burnett and Beth Levin, the series was launched in broadcast on March 30, 2018 and consists of a total of 106 chapters to date along with 3 consolidated seasons, and said duration time for each chapter consists of a total of 11 minutes, and indeed the series is still on air today.

It is also worth noting that the creators of the series have a significant repertoire as writers, having worked for programs such as Steven Universe and Level up.

El mundo de Craig como se le conoce en Hispanoamérica o como Craig of the Creek en Estados Unidos, es considerada una serie televisiva animada y transmitida por Cartoon Network la cual fue creada por Matt Burnett y Beth Levin, la serie fue lanzado en emisión el 30 de Marzo del 2018 y consta de un total de 106 capítulos hasta la fecha junto a 3 temporadas consolidadas, y dicho tiempo de duración por cada capítulos consta de un total de 11 minutos, y en efecto la serie sigue en emisión en la actualidad.

Cabe también destacar que los creadores de dicha serie tienen un repertorio significativo como escritores, habiendo trabajado para programas como Steven Universe y Level up.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

The plot is very simple, the story revolves around the life of a boy named Craig, which spends much of his time in a place called the creek, a place in which several children also gather to do whatever they please or enjoy, along with his best friends Kelsey and j.p is a place in which largely predominates several tribes, consolidated by these children in question along with a variety of sub places in the creek in which they can be themselves.

La trama es muy simple, la historia gira en torno a la vida de un niño llamado Craig, el cual pasa gran parte de su tiempo en un lugar llamado el arrollo, un lugar en el cual se reúnen varios niños también hacer lo que les plazca o disfruten, junto a sus mejores amigos Kelsey y j.p es un lugar en el que predomina en gran medida varias tribus, consolidadas por estos niños en cuestión junto a una gran variedad de sub lugares en dicho arroyo en los cuales pueden ser ellos mismos.

Personal opinion / Opinión personal

There really are many aspects linked to this series that at first instance when I began to see their respective chapters on television, were not so noticeable, but certainly as I saw more chapters and also tried to investigate a little more in the networks to understand a little context or monitoring that had to the various situations presented, it became much more evident that really has things which personally for me can be rescued, and are very worthwhile, and being honest in comparison to the content that has been made and presented in Cartoon Network currently during the last 5 or 7 years, it hasn't been that outstanding either with the exception of some series like Regular Show, Adventure Time, the incredible world of Gumball or Infinity Train of which most or all of them have already ended their programming or sadly have been cancelled, but this one is certainly worth it beyond the obvious and evident, personally there are many factors involved in its plot that seem to me very outstanding, One of them is when for example the kids use the aspect linked to creativity and imagination and the use of it to make the plot more dynamic and entertaining and how that is shown to the viewer from the point of view of each kid for me is great.

Other aspects linked to this and the use of that theme could be the ingenuity, not only of the main character i.e. Craig with his skill as a draftsman and cartographer and his passion for that field, but also his initiative and leadership skills on several occasions, as well as Kelsie and J. P, the best friends of the main character, each one shows a very ingrained aspect and linked to his personality in such strong and unique ways, that are distinguishable in a very outstanding way as for example Kelsie's passion for general and adventure literature as well as her passion for knight novels, it really is a point that personally makes me identify a little with her and not only limited to these 3 if not a whole big set of people that make up that place. In addition to this you can appreciate and address aspects related to friendship, acceptance, loyalty, understanding, self-discovery and also mature situations related to growth at other points, either in family environments or with other adults there are several specific chapters that have their charm, there was one in which the absence or death of a pet was addressed gradually and the damage it can cause to children who are not accustomed to process that pain, another in which the presence of a mother and her absence due to her work was valued, another in which acceptance was involved for those who do not understand other people in nature but it is okay to respect and understand that we are all different, and another in which love has no gender or barriers in a way that is not forced and natural at all.

Very well and now it is time to break down this series and touch other points linked to it, let's start with the animation section, you will see at this point you will notice that it is certainly a cartoon animation style and also shows a set of very simple features in the anatomy of the characters, which is not a bad thing do not misinterpret it, another thing is also the colorful environment in which they are, of course the most predominant colors are green or blue or brown, after all they are in a stream and all that is conformed in the same is a wide vegetation in most cases and rural areas in streets and sewers, in this section as a whole I have no complaints at the visual level the truth, it is pretty standard but well presented although there are certain occasions in which, they are taken a good advantage and in a referential way are used poses or expressions associated with the world of anime or cartoon of the same company or company in question (and being fed more than anything by the creativity or imagination of the boys).

And with this ends today's review with this good series, the truth I am thinking about downloading the chapters or seasons later, to see it as it should but as I also have the time something measured and chronometer with several things in my day to day I will see what you can do, however at this point I maintain my position in which certainly, it is not a completely perfect series since it falters for me in some chapters something slow or showing us repetitive patterns that are fixed to the tastes of our main characters, but do not go beyond that, which is not bad but sometimes I feel that they abuse a little of that, but out of that really worth it and it is a good job that deserves a chance compared to the current in other series, so as always thanks for getting here and without more to say until next time.

Realmente hay muchos aspectos ligados a esta serie que a primera instancia cuando comencé a ver sus respetivos capítulos en la televisión, no fueron tan notorios, pero ciertamente a medida de que veía más capítulos eh intentaba también investigar un poco más en las redes para entender un poco el contexto o seguimiento que tenia ante las diversas situaciones que presentaba, se hacía mucho más evidente que realmente tiene cosas de las cuales en lo personal para mí se pueden rescatar, y valen mucho la pena, y siendo honestos en comparación al contenido que se ha hecho y presentado en Cartoon Network actualmente durante estos últimos 5 o 7 años, tampoco ha sido tan destacable con excepción de alguna series como Regular Show, Adventure Time, el increíble mundo de Gumball o Infinity Train de las cuales la mayoría o todas ya han finiquitado su programación o tristemente han sido canceladas, pero esta ciertamente vale la pena más allá de lo obvio y evidente en lo personal hay muchos factores inmiscuidos en su trama que me parecen muy sobresalientes, uno de ellos es cuando por ejemplo los niños usan el aspecto ligado a la creatividad y la imaginación y el uso de la misma para hacer la trama mas dinámica y entretenida y como eso, se le muestra al espectador desde el punto de vista de cada chico para mi es genial.

Otros aspectos ligados a esto y el uso de ese tema podría ser el ingenio, no solo del protagonista es decir el de Craig con su habilidad como dibujante y cartógrafo y su pasión por ese ámbito, si no también su iniciativa y capacidad de liderazgo en varias ocasiones, así como Kelsie y J.P, los mejores amigos del personaje principal, cada uno muestra un aspecto muy arraigado y ligado a su personalidad de maneras tan fuertes y únicas, que son distinguibles de manera muy sobresaliente como por ejemplo la pasión de Kelsie por la literatura general y de aventura así como su pasión por las novelas de caballeros, realmente es un punto que en lo personal hace que me identifique un poco con ella y no solo se limita a estos 3 si no a todo un gran conjunto de personas que conforman ese lugar. Además de ello se puede llegar apreciar y abordar aspectos vinculados a la amistad, aceptación, lealtad, comprensión, auto descubrimiento y también situaciones maduras vinculadas al crecimiento en otros puntos, ya sea en entornos familiares o con otros adultos hay varios capítulos en especifico que tienen su encanto, hubo uno en el cual se abordo la ausencia o muerte de una mascota de manera paulatina y el daño que puede ocasionar a niños que no están acostumbrados a procesar ese dolor, otro donde se valoro la presencia de una madre y su ausencia por su trabajo, otro en el cual se involucro la aceptación por aquellos que no logramos comprender, a otras personas en naturaleza pero está bien con tal de respetar y comprender que todos somos diferentes, y otro en el cual el amor no tiene géneros ni barreras de una forma para nada forzada y natural.

Muy bien y ahora viene siendo hora de desglosar esta serie y tocar otros puntos ligados a la misma, comencemos con el apartado de la animación, verán en este punto se nota que es un estilo de animación ciertamente a lo cartoon y también muestra un conjunto de rasgos muy simples en la anatomía de los personajes, lo cual no es algo malo no lo mal interpreten, otra cosa es también el ambiente tan colorido en el cual se encuentren, claro los colores mas predominantes son el verde o azul o marrón, después de todo se encuentran en un arroyo y todo lo que está conformado en el mismo es una amplia vegetación en la mayoría de los casos y zonas rurales en calles y alcantarillados, en este apartado en conjunto no tengo ninguna queja a nivel visual la verdad, es bastante estándar pero bien presentado aunque hay ciertas ocasiones en las cuales, se les saca un buen provecho y de manera referencial se usan posees o expresiones asociadas al mundo del anime o cartoon de la misma compañía o empresa en cuestión ( y siendo alimentada más que nada por la creatividad o imaginación de los chicos).

Con relación a la ambientación, puedo llegar a decir que se muestra en la mayoría de los casos un ambiente al aire libre o abierto, inclusive aunque se encuentren una zona sub urbana, toma mucha mas presencia la vegetación en las zonas del arroyo, aspecto y zona de la cual ciertamente cubrirá gran parte de los capítulos y no solo eso, si no su extensión que abarca a diversos lugares, estas cosas se ven mencionadas a medida de que se presentan mas y mas capítulos dependiendo de lo que abarque la trama para el momento, pero por lo general a nivel de ambientación es el lugar o zona más predominante, donde se ve reforzada por la imaginación y creatividad de los chicos y sus gustos y decisiones un sitio sin reglas en el cual pueden ser ellos, y auto describirse y descubrir muchas cosas con otros.

Y con esto termina la reseña del día de hoy con esta buena serie, la verdad estoy pensando en descargarme los capítulos o temporadas luego, para verla como es debido pero como también tengo el tiempo algo medido y cronometro con varias cosas en mi día a día veré que puede hacer, sin embargo a estas alturas mantengo mi postura en la cual ciertamente, no es una serie del todo perfecta ya que flaquea para mí en algunos capítulos algo lentos o mostrándonos patrones repetitivos que van fijados a los gustos de nuestros personajes principales, pero no pasan de ahí, de lo cual no está mal pero a veces siento que abusan un poco de eso, pero fuera de eso realmente vale la pena y es un buen trabajo que se merece una oportunidad en comparación a lo actual en otras series, así que como siempre gracias por llegar hasta aquí y sin mas que decir hasta la próxima.
