Fate/stay night: Heavens feel (2017 - 2020) Review [Eng - Esp]

A few days ago, I finally did my review of Rin and archer's route in Fate/stay night: Unlimited blade works, route in which there are aspects eh ideals in fight certainly contradictory and realistic that in my opinion I liked a lot, but it is more than anything by the contradictions that are presented before such positions already having talked about all that, now comes the opportunity to talk about the third route and there is something very curious with this route in question and is that this is shown in movie format sectioned into 3 parts unlike Fate Zero, Unlimited blade works or stay night (elaborated by the studio deen) is elaborated by the studio by Ufotable, is presented as movies and do not misunderstand me is not bad I like it, it shows more concisely or with more weight what will be seen by sections with each movie that is shown.

You see I had thought of 2 alternatives to elaborate this review, the first was to talk about this route and make 3 reviews for each film or talk about everything as a broader complement in a review, and I will choose to do this second alternative, since I will feel more comfortable because there will not be a significantly radical change in each film, beyond what is shown with the development of the magical war itself, with the exception of some things linked to the female character on duty in this case which is Sakura Matou, but I will talk about this later, because certainly this route is somewhat dark at several points, becoming equivalent to these points with Fate Zero, but in a way a little more sad, cruel and delicate, although of course the narrative of Fate Zero if a little better, so this time I bring you to Fate/stay night: Heavens feel.

Hace unos días atrás, por fin cumplí eh hice mi reseña a la ruta de Rin y archer en Fate/stay night: Unlimited blade works, ruta en la cual hay aspectos eh ideales en lucha ciertamente contradictorios y realistas que a mi parecer me gustaron mucho, pero es más que nada por las contradicciones que se presentan ante dichas posturas ya habiendo hablado sobre todo eso, ahora viene la oportunidad de hablar de la tercera ruta y hay algo muy curioso con esta ruta en cuestión y es que esta se muestra en formato de películas seccionados en 3 partes a diferencia de Fate Zero, Unlimited blade works o stay night (elaborada por el estudio deen) está elaborada por el estudio por parte de Ufotable, se presenta como películas y no me mal interpreten no está mal me gusta, muestra de forma más concisa o con más peso lo que se verá por secciones con cada película que se muestra.

Verán yo tenía pensado 2 alternativas para elaborar esta reseña, la primera era hablar de esta ruta y hacer 3 reseñas por cada película o hablar de todo como un complemento más amplio en una reseña, y optare por hacer esta segunda alternativa, ya que me sentiré mas cómodo debido a que no habrá un cambio significativamente tan radical en cada película, mas allá de lo que se muestra con el desenvolvimiento de la guerra mágica en sí, con excepción de alguna cosas ligadas al personaje femenino de turno en este caso el cual es Sakura Matou, pero ya hablare sobre esto más adelante, porque ciertamente esta ruta es algo oscura en varios puntos, llegando a ser equivalente dichos puntos con Fate Zero, pero de una manera un poco más triste, cruel y delicado, aunque claro la narrativa de Fate Zero si es un poco mejor, así que esta vez les traigo a Fate/stay night: Heavens feel

Fate/stay night: Heavens feel, is being considered an animated trilogy of movies in Japan, this trilogy adapted what is Heavens feel which is the last route of the visual novel of Fate/stay night directed by Tomonori Sudo and written by Akira Hiyama, and the one that follows after Unlimited blade works, this is shown in 3 movies with the following order: (Heavens feel 1. Presage Flower released on October 14, 2017 in Japan and November 19 in the United States) (Heavens feel 2. Lost Butterfly released on January 12, 2019 in Japan and March 14 in the United States) (Heavens feel 3. Spring Song released on August 15, 2020 in Japan and November 18 in the United States).

The animation studio in charge of carrying out this work was the Ufotable studio on the other hand, the musical work was carried out in the 3 films by Yuki Kajiura.

Fate/stay night: Heavens feel, viene siendo considerada una trilogía animada de películas en Japón, dicha trilogía adapto lo que es Heavens feel la cual viene siendo la ultima ruta de la novela visual de Fate/stay night dirigida por Tomonori Sudo y escrita por Akira Hiyama, y la que le sigue después de Unlimited blade works, esta se muestra en 3 películas con el siguiente orden: (Heavens feel 1. Presage Flower estrenada el 14 de Octubre del 2017 en Japón y 19 de noviembre en Estados Unidos) (Heavens feel 2. Lost Butterfly estrenada el 12 de Enero de 2019 en Japón y 14 de Marzo en Estados Unidos) (Heavens feel 3. El estudio de animación encargado de llevar a cabo este trabajo fue el estudio Ufotable por otra parte, el trabajo musical fue llevado a cabo en las 3 películas por Yuki Kajiura.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

The plot focuses on the life of Shirou a young orphan, who by circumstances of destiny is unwittingly involved in a magical war in which 7 magicians, along with 7 heroic spirits called "servants" for an object that grants wishes called the holy grail, he will seek the means to survive in this war and protect a girl whom he esteems very much called Sakura, his life and Sakura will change in many ways as the plot unfolds in the relevant films in dark ways for him and her.

La trama se centra en la vida de Shirou un joven huérfano, que por circunstancias del destino se inmiscuye sin querer en una guerra mágica en la cual 7 magos, junto a 7 espiritus heroicos llamados “servants” por un objeto que concede deseos llamado el santo grial, el buscara los medios para sobrevivir en esta guerra y proteger a una chica la cual estima mucho llamada Sakura, la vida de él y Sakura cambiaran en muchas formas a medida de que la trama se desenvuelve en las pertinentes películas de maneras oscuras para él y ella.

Personal opinion / Opinión personal

I would like to approach this animated adaptation, first highlighting the weight of Sakura as a character, the girl of turn which has a significant weight here and as I mentioned previously in the old reviews, in each route our protagonist will have a genuine link with each girl, that is why in that sense this a present variety arranged for certain events in the novel and these adaptations with those premises fixed in "what would happen if Shirou interacted with a certain female character for a romantic purpose in a dangerous magical scenario" in the case of Sakura is very curious, since although in the old routes this one will show us a null or irrelevant impression, here this changes drastically in many senses since we can see a little more her life and the hell that she has had to pass to be accepted in her family bond, with the intention of becoming as the movies advance in something much more chaotic.

I like that it shows a great parallelism between Shirou and the very genuine and warm treatment he gives to this as a good friend and in contrast everything that this girl has to go through in her private life, which I can say is strong the truth, very sensitive and even cruel topics are addressed of which I will not make details not to spoil the plot or spoil, besides that, the present events that unfold here are certainly set with the war between magicians to obtain the holy grail, with the slight difference in that now the wizards and servants will not only have to fight each other for this task, now they will have to confront and even work together and join forces to fight an unknown and strong presence beyond imagination, this intrigue and doubt makes this route has more weight in that sense and shows a different point than usual that was shown in the old routes.

It will also be present, this internal conflict between Shirou and his ideal of being a hero of justice in opposition to a greater feeling towards Sakura, but all these aspects fixed so much in his person as in others before the threat in which they are will take more weight and form as they are covered in the movies, which are 3 and are presented in parts as I already mentioned in the technical file, being a darker environment fixed on issues and somewhat questionable positions at many points, alliances, losses, adaptations and above all betrayal and love, now let's move on to the other points.

With respect to the animation shows a magnificent job in each of the 3 films, I would dare to say that as you progress through the films this aspect improves even more at some points such as battles or individual fights, there are moments in which this is strongly reinforced by the wide range of colors and lighting when considerably show the skills of each servant, really that in level of lighting, animation, dynamism and fluidity here I really have no complaints, even presented in some visions effects with some 3d work, but without being absurd or become uncomfortable, really as always Ufotable doing a great job in general even in this route.

Regarding the plot, it follows the same guidelines that are presented in the previous routes, the boy who gets involved without wanting or knowing in a magical war for an object that grants wishes, but by circumstances of life without wanting it and this time has a closer link with this girl on duty, which is a student of his high school and very close friend Sakura, the difference is that despite what is presented in terms of conflicts with magicians and servants here, the difference is that in spite of what is presented in terms of conflicts with magicians and servants here, the story of this girl and the background with her family takes a lot of weight and as they advance in the 3 movies, we are shown that this one has a more than relevant impact with Shirou and other things, we are also shown a darker tonality in the life of this girl and her interaction with some members of her family among them her sister and brother, in addition to the projection of those emotions to others, which will take more weight as the plot progresses with an ending in the last film more than shocking and a level of choreography in combat in general very good.

The setting, shows a darker tone in everything it covers and this is also presented by the characteristics and personalities of the characters depending on what they go through, at this point the animation takes a good weight eh impact, the music is exquisite especially in the fights mainly and strong themes in dialogue, those set in the 2nd and 3rd movie are a work of art, the musical accompaniment here really did a great job I have no complaints. Me gustaría abordar esta adaptación animada, primero resaltando el peso de Sakura como personaje, la chica de turno la cual tiene un peso significativo aquí y como mencione anteriormente en las antiguas reseñas, en cada ruta nuestro protagonista tendrá una vinculación genuina con cada chica, es por eso que en ese sentido esta una variedad presente dispuesta para ciertos acontecimientos en la novela y estas adaptaciones con esas premisas fijadas en "qué pasaría si Shirou interactuara con cierto personaje femenino para una finalidad romántica en un escenario mágico peligroso" en el caso de Sakura es muy curioso, ya que aunque en las antiguas rutas esta nos mostrara una impresión nula o irrelevante, aquí esto cambia drásticamente en muchos sentidos ya que podemos ver un poco mas su vida y el infierno que ha tenido que pasar para ser aceptada en su vinculo familiar, con la intención de convertirse a medida de que las películas avanzan en algo mucho más caótico.

Me gusta que se muestre un gran paralelismo entre Shirou y el trato tan genuino y cálido que le da a esta como una buena amiga y en contraste todo por lo que esta chica tiene que pasar en su vida privada, lo cual puedo decir que es fuerte la verdad, se abordan temas muy sensibles y hasta crueles de los cuales no hare detalles para no arruinar la trama o spoilear, además de eso, los acontecimientos presentes que se desenvuelven aquí ciertamente están fijados con la guerra entre magos para obtener el santo grial, con la ligera diferencia en que ahora los magos y servants no solo tendrán que luchar entre sí para este cometido, ahora se tendrán que enfrentar eh incluso trabajar en conjunto y unir fuerzas para luchar con una presencia desconocida y fuerte mas allá de lo imaginable, esta intriga y duda hace que esta ruta tenga más peso en ese sentido y muestra un punto diferente de lo habitual que se mostro en las antiguas rutas.

Tambien estará presente, este conflicto interno entre Shirou y su ideal de ser un héroe de la justicia en contraposición de un sentimiento mayor hacia Sakura, pero todos estos aspectos fijados tanto en su persona como en otros ante la amenaza en la que se encuentran tomara más peso y forma a medida de que se abarquen en las películas, las cuales son 3 y se ven presentados por partes como ya bien mencione en la ficha técnica, siendo un entorno más oscuro fijado en temas y posturas algo cuestionables en muchos puntos, alianzas, pérdidas, adaptaciones y sobre todo traición y amor, ahora pasemos a los otros puntos.

Con respecto a la animación muestra un trabajo magnifico en cada una de las 3 películas, me atrevería a decir que a medida de que se avanza en las películas este aspecto mejora aun mas en algunos puntos como por ejemplo las batallas o luchas individuales, hay momentos en los cuales esto se ve fuertemente reforzado por el gran abanico de colores eh iluminación cuando considerablemente se muestran las habilidades de cada servant, realmente que en nivel de iluminación, animación, dinamismo y fluidez aquí realmente no tengo ningún tipo de quejas, hasta se presenta en algunas visiones efectos con cierto trabajo de 3d, pero sin ser absurdo o llegar a incomodar, realmente como siempre Ufotable haciendo un gran trabajo en general incluso en esta ruta.

Respecto a la trama, sigue los mismos lineamientos que se presentan en las rutas anteriores, el chico que se involucra sin querer o saber en una guerra mágica por un objeto que concede deseos, pero por circunstancias de la vida sin quererlo y esta vez tiene un vinculación más cercana con esta chica de turno, la cual es una estudiante de su preparatoria y amiga muy cercana Sakura, la diferencia es que a pesar de lo que se presenta en términos de conflictos con magos y servants aquí, toma mucho peso la historia de esta chica y el trasfondo con su familia y a medida de que se avanzan en las 3 películas, se nos muestra que esta tiene un impacto mas que relevante con Shirou y otras cosas, se nos muestra también una tonalidad en rama más obscura en la vida de esta chica y su interacción con algunos miembros de su familia entre ellos su hermana y hermano, además de la proyección de esas emociones a otros, lo cual tomara mayor peso a medida de que la trama avance con un final en la ultima película mas que impactante y un nivel de coreografías en combates en general muy bueno.

La ambientación, muestra una tonalidad más oscura en todo lo que abarca y esto también se ve presentado por las características y personalidades de los personajes dependiendo por lo que atraviesan, en este punto la animación toma un buen peso eh impacto, la música es exquisita en especial en los combates principalmente y temas fuertes en dialogo, aquellos fijados en la 2nda y tercera película son una obra de arte, el acompañamiento musical aquí realmente hizo un gran trabajo no tengo ningún tipo de queja. Y con esto terminamos la reseña del día de hoy, doy por finalizado las reseñas con estas ruta, ahora para la próxima reseña hablare sobre Fate apocrypha que creo que vale mucho la pena y especificare más a fondo el porqué está separado de este Fate/stay night y sus novelas, así que como siempre gracias por llegar hasta aquí y leer espero que hayan disfrutado la lectura y hasta la próxima.
