I've been somewhat absent since I've started to resume my studies, and my attention is directed to other things so I have to manage my time a little better, even to get the necessary content to share in this community, and taking advantage that I've had some free time, I wanted to give the opportunity to this beautiful short film that some friends of mine suggested me at the end of last month to see it. I know I have a few films or series both animated and acting that I would like to share here, but I would like to make an exception for the work of this short piece and what it projects as well as its background which may not be the longest or most complex, but it addresses things in such interesting and symbolically beautiful ways that I feel it should be given a chance and brought to this community and in turn given the thumbs up.

After my friends informed me about this animation, I quickly looked up what it was about and being completely honest at first it didn't catch my attention, but then a part of me wanted to give it a chance to at least see if it was worth it for me through its innocent and simplistic animation, and I couldn't be more pleased, it is a small work that shows us the beauty of simple things and acts and how such things take such a significant weight both in our lives and in the lives of others, mainly by those who appreciate and accept us as we are and besides that other aspects that take an introspective and questionable meaning internally about what surrounds us, but already these things and more I will talk about in due time so this time I bring you the short film of The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.

Eh estado un tanto ausente ya que, actualmente ya comencé a retomar mis estudios, y mi atención está dirigida a otras cosas así que debo administrar un poco mejor mi tiempo, incluso para sacar el contenido necesario para compartir en esta comunidad, y aprovechando que eh tenido un poco de tiempo libre, quería darle la oportunidad a este hermoso cortometraje que me sugirieron unos amigos míos a finales del mes pasado para poder verlo. Sé que tengo en lista algunas películas o series tanto animadas como en actuación que quisiera compartir aquí, pero me gustaría hacer una excepción por el trabajo de esta corta obra y lo que proyecta así como su trasfondo que quizás, no sea el más largo o complejo, pero aborda cosas de maneras tan interesantes y simbólicamente hermosas que siento que se le debería dar una oportunidad y traer a esta comunidad y a su vez darle el visto bueno.

Después de que mis amigos me informaron sobre esta animación, en su momento de manera rápida busque de que se trataba y siendo completamente honesto a primera instancia no llamo tanto mi atención, pero luego una parte de mi quiso darle una oportunidad para al menos ver si valía la pena para mí a través de su inocente y simplista animación, y la verdad no pude estar mas complacido, es una pequeña obra que nos muestra la belleza de las cosas y actos simples y como tales cosas toman un peso tan significativo tanto en nuestra vida como en la de otros, principalmente por aquellos que nos aprecian y aceptan tal y como somos y además de eso otros aspectos que toman un significado introspectivo y cuestionable de forma interna sobre lo que nos rodea, pero ya estas cosas y mas halare en su momento así que esta vez les traigo el cortometraje de El niño, el topo, el zorro y el caballo.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse was originally considered a book written by Charley Mackesy. Then it was decided to adapt it to a short film with a duration of 30 minutes, this animation was released on December 25, 2022 and was considered as the winner of the Oscar for best animated short film this 2023, the animation was released by the Apple tv platform.

El niño, el topo, el zorro, y el caballo, vienen siendo considerado originalmente como un libro escrito por Charley Mackesy. Luego se decidió adaptarlo a un cortometraje con una duración de 30 minutos, dicha animación se estreno el 25 de diciembre del 2022 y fue considerada como ganadora del óscar como mejor cortometraje animado este 2023, la animación se estreno por la plataforma de Apple tv.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

The plot takes place in a place full of snow, and we accompany a boy who is lost in this place and tries to find his place at home, on the way and as the plot unravels he will meet and interact with 3 specific animals, which not only help him in his journey, but they will teach him perspectives and an understanding of many important things.

La trama se desarrolla en un lugar repleto de nieve, y acompañamos a un niño el cual se encuentra extraviado en este lugar eh intenta buscar su lugar a casa, en el camino y a medida de que la trama se desenlaza este ira conociendo eh interactuando con 3 animales en especifico, los cuales no solo le ayudaran en su travesía, si no que le ensenaran perspectivas así como un entendimiento sobre muchas cosas importantes.

Personal opinion / Opinión personal

Certainly, I was very pleased with the final result and the important teachings that are shown in this work, what I liked at this point focused on those teachings, is the point of view in which they are shown and taught, since not only comes from the same source since each animal has a particularity that makes it unique in its own way, and I am not referring to its morphology or its species but to its vision of what life is and how they perceive it, every point and theme that is shown here invites us to reflect and have an internal or introspective talk about each pattern, and they are not long or entirely confusing or redundant themes, but they have a great weight and are very real, I feel that each point that is addressed is made for each specific person and for a specific moment that makes us see it in a different way and all this derives and goes towards the most important feeling of love and genuine acceptance.

I can say that the scenario in which the whole plot is generated is the most suitable for the situation, a place where there is no control and where the best alternative is to go ahead and face things despite the fear roasting in the hearts, and this is beautiful because each animal represents a very important symbolic aspect, and throughout the short film we can see the impact and point of view of each one. My interpretation with this and in a very brief and mostly personal way is that the horse represents courage and strength, the mole represents questioning and spirit, the fox represents distrust, mind and regret and the child is the representation of what he is in essence, an innocent and kind creature completely vulnerable and lost, in this last aspect I see it as a genuine and vulnerable representation of us as human beings, when you don't know what to do and we feel we are lost or for me I interpret it that way and the search of this boy is directed to something that we all should have in a genuine way but that is not always represented as what it is and that is more than what we believe.

The plot focuses on a quest, in short on the search for what a home is and this small group of animals will somehow help him in his quest, but beyond the end result, what mattered most to me here is the journey. There was a part in which things get a little strong and it is at that point that I really wanted to see how things were approached, since in essence, we as people react in different ways to difficult situations but the way in which this was approached here seemed to me not only the most correct, if not the most beautiful in terms of genuineness and just with simple acts that is the most interesting, the actions and the weight we give it really speaking for us and more if they have a genuine weight, here in this section I have no problem.

The animation on the other hand, shows to be at most very but very simple, but have unique details that make the work stand out or highlight in their own way and this for me makes it interesting, although there are scenes in which shows a good development of the environment and everything that surrounds our characters as the plot progresses, we can observe these factors much better, of which I will not mention much but, there is a specific scene with one of our characters that will show us a different perspective of the environment from a different view I will only say that, here I have no complaints besides the one I had at first instance when I was informed about this short film without having seen it yet, but obviously when I went deeper and saw it, I liked these details.

To culminate I want to say that, once I finished watching all this visual work, I came to have a perspective that perhaps is not so different from the one I already have, but it is interesting how it allows you the alternative to question and value those things that may be present in your life, but you do not give the necessary importance, to value, and treasure each loved one who appreciates and accepts you as you are, that affection that is given and presented to you in a genuine way, and above all the unconditional support in difficult situations is an open letter to love and questioning from many points of view, that really for me is worthwhile and beautiful, you should give a chance to this great little work. Ciertamente, quede muy complacido con el resultado final y las enseñanzas tan importantes que se muestran en esta obra, lo que me gusto en este punto enfocado con aquellas enseñanzas, es el punto de vista en el cual se muestran y ensenan, ya que no solo viene de una misma fuente ya que cada animal tiene una particularidad que lo hace único a su manera, y no me refiero a su morfología o su especie si no a su visión de lo que es la vida y como estos la perciben, todo punto y tema que se muestra aquí nos invita a reflexionar y tener una charla interna o introspectiva sobre cada patrón, y no son temas largos o enteramente confusos o redundantes, pero tienen un gran peso y son muy reales, siento que cada punto que se aborda esta hecho para cada persona en especifico y para un momento en concreto que se nos orille a verlo de una forma diferente y todo esto deriva y va hacia el sentimiento mas importante el amor y aceptación genuina.

Puedo llegar a decir que el escenario en el que se genera todo la trama es el mas idóneo ante la situación, un lugar en donde no se tiene un control y donde la mejor alternativa es el seguir adelante y afrontar las cosas a pesar del miedo aseando en los corazones, y esto es hermoso porque cada animal representa un aspecto simbólico muy importante, y a lo largo del cortometraje podemos ver el impacto y punto de vista de cada uno. Mi interpretación con esto y de manera muy breve y sobre todo personal es que el caballo representa el valor y la fortaleza, el topo representa el cuestionamiento y el espíritu, el zorro representa la desconfianza, la mente y el arrepentimiento y el niño es la representación de lo que es en esencia, una criatura inocente y bondadosa completamente vulnerable y perdida, en este ultimo aspecto yo lo veo como una representación genuina y vulnerable de nosotros como seres humanos, cuando no sabes que hacer y nos sentimos estamos perdidos o para mí lo interprete así y la búsqueda de este chico está dirigida a algo que todos deberíamos tener de forma genuina pero que no siempre se representa como lo que es y que es más de lo que creemos.

La trama se centra en una búsqueda, en resumidas cuentas en la búsqueda de lo que es un hogar y este pequeño grupo de animales de alguna forma le ayudara en su cometido, pero más allá del resultado final, lo que importo mas para mi aquí es la travesía. Hubo una parte en la cual se ponen las cosas algo fuertes y es en ese punto que realmente quería ver como se abordaban las cosas, ya que en esencia, nosotros como personas reaccionamos de formas diferentes ante situaciones difíciles pero la manera en la cual se abordo esto aquí me pareció no solo la mas correcta, si no la más hermosa en términos de genuinidad y solo con simples actos que es lo más interesante, las acciones y el peso que le damos realmente hablando por nosotros y más si las mismas tienen un peso genuino, aquí en este apartado no tengo ningún problema.

La animación por otra parte, muestra ser a lo mucho muy pero muy simple, pero tienen detalles únicos que hacen que la obra resalte o destaque a su manera y esto para mi hace que sea interesante, aunque hay escenas en las cuales se muestra un bueno desarrollo del ambiente y todo lo que le rodean a nuestros personajes a medida de que avanza la trama, podemos observar mucho mejor estos factores, de los cuales no mencionare mucho pero, ocurre una escena en especifico con uno de nuestros personajes que nos mostrara una perspectiva diferente del entorno desde una vista diferente solo diré eso, aquí no tengo ninguna queja además de la que tuve a primera instancia cuando me informe sobre este cortometraje sin a verlo visto aun, pero obviamente al profundizar y verlo estos detalles me gustaron.

Para culminar quiero decir que, una vez que culmine de ver todo este trabajo visual, llegue a tener una perspectiva que quizás no es tan diferente de la que ya tengo actualmente, pero es interesante como te permite la alternativa de cuestionar y valorar aquellas cosas que quizás estén presente en tu vida, pero no le das la importancia necesaria, el valorar, y atesorar cada ser querido que te aprecia y acepta como eres, aquel cariño que se te otorga y presenta de forma genuina, y sobre todo el apoyo incondicional en situaciones difíciles es una carta abierta al amor y el cuestionamiento desde muchos puntos de vista, que realmente para mi vale la pena y es hermoso, deberían darle una oportunidad a esta pequeña gran obra.
