Some time ago, about 2 years ago I made a post in which I reviewed the anime which I will talk about next, at that time it did not have a second season as such officially except for what was shown in the last chapter, but now things are different and you can get to say that a second season has been presented and I'm excited about it, because for me it is an anime that is certainly worth watching, which has an incredible story of war, blood, internal conflicts and above all the revenge and the repercussions of it in this case to our protagonist, who unfortunately lived a very turbid and cruel infamy and pre adolescence.

However beyond these features already mentioned and other aspects linked to what I talked about some time ago in that post, here in this new season shows a very large contrast, since unlike what we are shown in that first season, in which there was a great dynamism in terms of what is the conflict, the thirst for revenge and a life so moved and sadly influenced by war and death, here it is shown a little more "calm", you will see what I mean by this when I talk about more in detail, with this for much of the things I mentioned below have more weight in the manga, but I will explain calmly that so ladies and gentlemen this time I bring you the anime Vinland saga season 2.

Hace un tiempo atrás, aproximadamente era de unos 2 años hice un post en el cual reseñe al anime del cual les hablare a continuación, para ese momento no contaba con una segunda temporada como tal de manera oficial con excepción a lo que se mostro en su último capítulo, pero ahora las cosas son diferentes y se puede llegar a decir que se ha presentado una segunda temporada y estoy emocionado por eso, ya que para mí es un anime que ciertamente vale la pena ver, el cual cuenta con una historia increíble, de guerra, sangre, conflictos internos y sobre todo la venganza y las repercusiones de la misma en este caso ante nuestro protagonista, el cual lamentablemente vivió una infamia y pre adolescencia muy turbia y cruel.

Sin embargo mas allá de estos rasgos ya mencionados y otros aspectos ligados a lo que hable hace tiempo en ese post, aquí en esta nueva temporada muestra un contraste muy grande, ya que a diferencia de lo que se nos muestra en esa primera temporada, en el cual había un gran dinamismo en términos de lo que es el conflicto, la sed de venganza y una vida tan movida y tristemente influenciada por la guerra y la muerte, aquí se muestra un poco más “tranquilo”, ya verán a lo que me refiero con esto cuando hable sobre mas a detalle, con esto por gran parte de las cosas que mencione a continuación tienen mayor peso en el manga, pero ya explicare con calma eso así que damas y caballeros esta vez les traigo el anime de Vinland saga temporada 2.

Vinland Saga is a manga written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura, which has published and completed a total of 25 volumes. It was first published in 2005 for Shukan Shonen Magazine, but in December of the same year, it was moved to Aftermoon monthly magazine where it continues its publication until today. The reason why the publication of his work was changed is because this series was unraveled later, not as a Shonen (content for young boys) but as a Seinen (content aimed at young adults).

It was on July 7, 2019 where the first season of the anime was broadcast for the first time with a total of 24 chapters, and its completion was on December 29 of the same year, the corresponding adaptation was carried out by the animation studio Wit Studio. For this year it was shown the initiation of the second season starting this same year on January 10 and will have a total of 24 episodes for this new installment, and the animation group in charge for this project will be the animation studio MAPPA.

Vinland Saga es un manga escrito eh ilustrado por Makoto Yukimura, el cual tiene publicado y finalizado hasta la actualidad un total de 25 tomos. Fue publicado por primera vez en el 2005 para la revista Shukan Shonen Magazine, pero en Diciembre de ese mismo año, este pasó a la revista mensual Aftermoon donde continúa su publicación hasta la actualidad. La razón por la cual la publicación de su trabajo se cambio es debido a que esta serie se desenlazo luego, no como un Shonen (contenido para chicos jóvenes) si no como un Seinen (contenido dirigido a jóvenes adultos)

Fue el 7 de Julio del 2019 donde se emitió por primera vez la primera temporada de el anime contando con un total de 24 capítulos, y su finalización fue el 29 de Diciembre de ese mismo año, dicha adaptación correspondiente se llevo a cabo por el estudio de animación Wit Studio. Para este año se mostro la iniciación de la segunda temporada iniciando este mismo año el 10 de Enero y contara con un total de 24 episodios para esta nueva entrega, y el grupo de animación encargado para este proyecto será el estudio de animación MAPPA.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

The plot follows the continuation of the events occurred in the old season, however as an introduction, we are introduced to a character named Einar which due to unfortunate circumstances is converted and sold into slavery, by circumstances of fate this will meet our protagonist Thorfinn with a very different mentality, which could be perceived in comparison to the old delivery, it is through the contact they have both that the story will take a new direction.

La trama sigue la continuación de los eventos ocurridos en la antigua temporada, sin embargo como introducción, se nos presenta a un personaje llamado Einar el cual debido a circunstancias desafortunadas es convertido y vendido como esclavo, por circunstancias del destino este conocerá a nuestro protagonista Thorfinn con una mentalidad muy diferente, a la cual se pudo percibir en comparación a la antigua entrega, es a través del contacto que tienen ambos que la historia tomara un nuevo rumbo.

Personal opinion / Opinión personal

Before I start, I would like to explain that I read the whole manga of this series, I already know what will happen and therefore not only how this season will end but the series in general (if they decide to continue it), the reason why I will start watching it is because besides the fact that it will be animated by the animation studio MAPPA, which is a very well known studio, I would like to see the outcome and many situations in specific, at the date in which I am doing this review, I finished watching the first chapter, and I must mention that I really loved everything that is involved with the animation is well done and not only that in terms of facial expressions, decisions and everything that is complemented with the characters is very good, if personally for now this first chapter I put it with the manga I can say that for now has done a great job, for now, as there are still things to see and analyze.

Now in relation to what I was mentioning in the introduction regarding the first season and about our protagonist, first of all I personally recommend you to watch the first season of Vinland saga, to have a better understanding of the events that occur in this new season, as it will cost them understand a little many situations linked to our protagonist and his growth, as here in this season by our protagonist and his new lifestyle, a more "calm" panorama is noticed in comparison to what was seen in the first season, however this does not make or cease to be dangerous on the contrary it has its moments of danger, and doubts and struggles, but this is more fixed to the self-realization eh introspection and questioning of the protagonist Thorfinn so it will be a little calmer, but it does not stop charging a weight and value so significant for him and for the people around him, before this lifestyle that we will see gradually in this season with the coming chapters.

Personally and if at this point this series calls your attention, watch the first season, of which I spoke long ago, because it is really worth the continuity of the same at this point with the follow-up of his manga, brought to a second season even more certainly, personally I would like to extrapolate more in this section but as only, and up to the date in which I am making this post, only one chapter has been released, the animation section, I will not be able to cover it in its totality as I would like to, but I can add that at first instance and from what I saw obviously coming from the work of this good animation studio is that in terms of dynamism and color as well as fluidity, they are certainly in a very good point.

Regarding the plot, at the beginning of this season we will be shown the life of Einar, a character who had everything taken away from him, and due to circumstances of destiny he will meet our protagonist Thorfinn, without knowing anything about each other. In this season we will be given the interactions of both of them, since besides being in the same situation, they certainly went through similar circumstances, what happens is that one in past seasons committed very questionable acts and the other did not, this is where the growth of both in this new environment will gain more weight and that is why I repeat, you should see the first season to better understand this if you are interested at this point.

The truth is a series that is worth watching from my point of view, and is set in historically, real facts to add more weight to this, I understand that perhaps there are people of which will not be to your taste and is respected for that is present the variety, but for me in general his manga and what he showed in previous chapters gives important messages, and very realistic or cruel that leave to the personal interpretation of each one to internalize and it is worth rescuing those things, after all as humans we become stronger through the difficulties. Antes de empezar, me gustaria explicar que yo todo el manga de esta serie lo leí por completo, ya sé que es lo que ocurrirá y por consiguiente no solo como terminara esta temporada si no la serie en general (si deciden continuarla), la razón por la cual comenzare a verla es porque además de que será animada por el estudio de animación MAPPA, el cual es un estudio muy conocido, me gustaría ver el desenlace y muchas situaciones en especifico, a la fecha en la cual estoy haciendo esta reseña, concluí de ver el primer capítulo, y debo mencionar que me encanto realmente todo lo que este involucrado con la animación está bien hecho y no solo eso en términos de expresiones faciales, decisiones y todo aquello que se complementa con los personajes es muy bueno, si en lo personal por ahora este primer capítulo lo pongo con el manga puedo llegar a decir que por ahora se ha hecho un gran trabajo, por los momentos, ya que falta cosas que ver y analizar.

Ahora con relación a lo que estaba mencionando en la introducción respecto a la primera temporada y sobre nuestro protagonista, primero que nada yo en lo personal les recomiendo que vean la primera temporada de Vinland saga, para tener un mejor entendimiento de los sucesos que se presentan en esta nueva temporada, ya que les costara entender un poco muchas situaciones ligadas a nuestro protagonista y su crecimiento, ya que aquí en esta temporada por parte de nuestro protagonista y su nuevo estilo de vida, se nota un panorama más “tranquilo” en comparación a lo visto en la primera temporada, sin embargo esto no hace o deja de ser peligroso al contrario tiene sus momentos de peligro, y dudas y luchas, pero esto es mas fijado a la auto realización eh introspección y cuestionamiento del protagonista Thorfinn así que será un poco más calmado, pero no deja de cobrar un peso y valor tan significativo para él y para las personas a su alrededor, ante este estilo de vida que veremos de manera paulatina en esta temporada con los capítulos venideros.

En lo personal y si a estas alturas les llama la atención esta serie, vean su primera temporada, de la cual hable hace mucho tiempo atrás, porque realmente vale la pena la continuidad de la misma a estas alturas con el seguimiento de su manga, traído a una segunda temporada aun mas ciertamente, en lo personal me gustaría extrapolarme más en este apartado pero como solamente, y hasta la fecha en la cual estoy haciendo este post ha salido un capitulo el apartado de la animación, no lo podre cubrir en su totalidad como me gustaría, pero si puedo añadir que a primera instancia y por lo que vi obviamente proviniendo del trabajo, de este buen estudio de animación es que en términos de dinamismo y color así como fluidez, están en un muy buen punto ciertamente.

Respecto a la trama tendría, a principios en esta temporada se nos mostrara la vida de Einar un personaje el cual le arrebataron todo, y por circunstancias del destino se topara con nuestro protagonista Thorfinn, sin saber nada el uno del otro. En esta temporada se nos brindara las interacciones de ambos ya que además de encontrarse, en la misma situación, ciertamente pasaron circunstancias similares, lo que pasa es que uno en temporadas pasadas cometía actos muy cuestionables y el otro no, es aquí donde el crecimiento de ambos en este nuevo ambiente cobrara más peso y por eso repito, deberían ver la primera temporada para entender mejor esto si les interesa a estas alturas.

La verdad es una serie que vale la pena ver desde mi punto de vista, y esta ambientada en hechos históricamente, reales para añadir más peso a esto, entiendo que quizás haya personas de lo cual no será para su gusto y se respeta para eso está presente la variedad, pero para mí en general su manga y lo que mostro en capítulos anteriores da importantes mensajes, y muy realistas o crueles que dejan a la interpretación personal de cada uno para internalizar y vale la pena rescatar esas cosas, después de todo como humanos nos hacemos más fuertes a través de las dificultades.
