FAILURE IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF BEING SUCCESSFUL!!!
You might find it simple to identify some traits that successful people share with those who are not from my earlier writings. In this piece, I'd want to focus on a key trait that defines success.

It is common knowledge that those who think differently from other people succeed. They have unique talents that have propelled them to where they are, and they must have overcome numerous obstacles and learned from them. They think outside the box and outside the usual.
These difficulties are what made them successful; being willing to constantly face difficulties and not remain comfortable in one place is what resulted in their growth. They are not content with the norms, with their regular 9 to 5 jobs. They see the easiest path as the one that everyone would take, but they choose the one that will challenge them the most.
Their lack of fear of failure distinguishes them from other people. Know why this is the case? It is really a straightforward grasp of how life works and the advantages of failure.
I recently failed a life test, and I realized how much failing, as well as recognizing how and why I failed, makes me a better person. Then I realized: Life gives us a test before we learn the lesson. I don't feel bad about failing because if I hadn't failed or faced the challenges that life threw at me, I would not have known how to better myself and grow.
The lesson here is that you should not be afraid to try something new because you might fail. We don't have to always win, and failing is an important step toward writing our success story. It is difficult to find a successful person today who does not have a story about how many times he failed. You should be aware of this:
Being cautious and choosing not to take chances puts you at a higher risk. a bigger danger of failing to find the future you want, a risk of erasing all opportunities for development and flushing them into the drain. This is why it's important for you to know:
How can you fail or succeed if you don't take risks? You should not be afraid of failure in your life again if you truly want the growth that you deserve because failing yields growth and if people mock you for failing! Then you should be aware of the following fact: YOUR SUCCESS IS AS GREAT AS YOUR FAILURE.
Let's take this scenario:
Two separate seeds have been planted in a garden in hopes that they would one day grow into trees. We all understand this to be true since, despite receiving the same amount of irrigation, two of these trees cannot develop at the same rate or level. One tree will undoubtedly outgrow the other.
The first tree to grow more quickly might even be making fun of the second for not growing as quickly (FAILURE), but in reality, even though it may not appear that way to people, the second tree has a deeper root system than the first and will eventually develop to be stronger than the first.
When we compare these trees to humans, we can say that the more failures you have, the more experience you have, the more you learn, and the deeper your roots become. That is why you should not feel bad about failing because it shapes you into the person you will become in the future.

Incredible, the story of the plant really got me and you know the funny thing about this is I've heard that story countless times but your approach was as always, unique and straight forward.
Most people see failure as failing but the reality is failing without giving up is the true definition of being successful. There are many who are very good at always winning that when they fail just once, they quit but those who have failed from the start, they are always humble even when they succeed, wow.
Giving up often happens to those who are so desperate to win and they fail. Like you said, we should just try out new things and we should not be scared to fail at it.

Failure basically means that you have given up - You have let your failed attempst define who you are and let it inhibit your ability to innovate and procreate, thereby rendering you into a regression state. Because it is he that fails to learn from his failure that has chosen to not grow.
Yes, you got that right. It is when you give up after you fail that you officially become a failure but as long as you keep getting up after you fall, you will eventually be successful.

Exactly! The best way to bounce off failure is to turn it into a stepping stone. You do not let failure define you, rather you let it refine you.
Failing is the proof that the person has tried doing something. Failures come only in the ways of those who attempt to succeed. A failure gives better and wiser lessons than success. Success only tells about a way that worked while failure makes you see beyond the surface. It makes one wiser to know what does not work.
Failure is the first step for success because it tells that you have set out for the journey. If you will continue it you will reach the destination the success
You are absolutely right, failure is what brings about success but sometimes those who become successful after few failures end up not valuing the success they've achieved.
They tend to put in just little effort because they think they're now better than most people but that's how they will end up going to the start or remaining stagnant.
Bullseye! You absoultely nailed it. The key to exploiting failure is never giving up and learning from it. It is indeed a journey, and failure is part of it. Basically a step in a staircase to sucess. You must encounter it on you way to sucess and it should lift you higher and not break you.

Infact, I read one time about why some so-called big people maybe commit suicide or something cos of one kind of failure or unfortunate incident was originally because they have never experienced something negative as that before. Thry thought life will always come by in good ways. This now implies that at times negativity is on the long run part of the positive process. It's like the way a vaccine works, you are injected with small dose of a harmful disease so that when the destructive one comes your body will be able to fight it!
In the case of the tree,basically, when we see others experiencing a hard time we should not be quick to castigate them. Rather we better learn from them and help them get up on their feet!

Those that always win are always scared of failure that when it comes, they are not able to bear the pain so they just end their existence. That's why it's always good to expect failure even as you work hard.

Man, I so love your perspective on this topic. Your illustration on how it is important to fail is on point. Failure is part of the journey and it should not be a stumbling block. Like you have explained, we go through certain failures so as to develop some sort of immune system that helps us bounce back from failure. That way, we see failure as an avenue to learn more and grow, rather that it breaking us.

As much as I support this that we should take risks but it is advisable to take a calculated risk and not do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. There is a big difference between a risk taker and a fool.
I lost my business last year and this year, I'm planning to come back (that's a risk) me doing the same thing I did last year that cost me my business is foolishness. After each failure, always go back to the drawing board and check what you did wrong.

That's right, some people might even understand this write-up in that direction but that's not what the writer was trying to say. For me taking risk is not what makes us successful, we succeed because we take the necessary risk after much analysis.
It's so unwise to just take risk because you heard it's only those that take risks that succeed. Taking risks in this context can even mean sacrificing. You want to go to work early, what do you do? You wake up very early and deny yourself some beauty sleep. But if you say you want to sleep some more, you might end up losing your job.
This is it, always remember to go to the drawing board, nice 👍.

And where do you do the calculation? On your drawing board.
A fool is one that repeats the same steps over and over again, expecting a different result. The point failure proves is that what you did previously just does not work, try something different. And in trying something different, you must factor in you precious mistake so as to arrive at a much improved result.

I'm Glad you've wrote on this. Failure is an important part of my life - Getting failed trying new thing's always learned something new out of it which helped me get better with the Time.
I still remember the fear of taking decision because this can be a failure but now it's changed or i do take risks.

That is something that people miss sometimes. Failure is actually a beauty in diguise. Failure is makes you see things differently that you normally would, allowing you to learn new things in it's processs. A man willing to succeed is a man that should be willing to learn, and you learn from mistakes (failures). Nice one!

To thrive in a world filled with challenges, one has to understand what it means to fail and how to exploit it to develop success.
Failing means that you tried something, some method, or followed a path that just isn't correlating with the result you expected, but you did not know that initially. Failure is an indication that you need to try something different in order to meet your expectations or goals. When you fail to realise that whatever it is you have tried just will not work and you have to try again with something else, that is when you are actually derailing from success.
Another thing people fail to understand is that it is important to go through failure, as this sometimes defines the authenticity of our success. For example, Thomas Edison made 1000 unsuccessful attempts before he created the first lightbulb. Because of his failed attempts, there are now 1000 ways to "not" make a lightbulb.
Another example is you, @starstrings01. Remember a video you showed me sometime ago? In the video, you showed some of your beginnings here on Hive. And you talked about how people had claimed that you do not know what it feels like to have little to nothing as post rewards here on Hive. Because of your many "failures", you are now one of the best onboarders we have here on Hive. And those experiences you have are what I ride on to get better every day.

"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated." In fact, it may be necessary to encounter defeats so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still come out of it."

You hit me when you said "TO BE TRULY SAFE, YOU HAVE TO TAKE RISK". And it aligns with my thoughts recently on how people choose the life of mediocracy in the name of "playing it safe". @prayzz recently made a post that triggered those thoughts of mine. He talked about how people just talk and but never do; all they do is pray about. To really manifest the change you want to see, you got to be that change.
Life is a game of risks, and you must play it. Not playing is basically losing and practically not "safe". If one desires to thrive in this new age that we have entered, one has to be willing to take risks. It is those that risk more that reap more.

The topic of people only saying their plans and never take action. I have discussed it so many times on this blog. They want a change in their life but do not want to do anything different from the routine they are used to.

I've come to realize that those who fail are the ones that gets the opportunity to receive different words from people, it could be either positive or negative but all of them have sense in it.
Most times, even as I'm scared of failure, I'm still scared of ending up being the only one that wins, it's not a good thing. I remember one movie I watched, the girl that deserved the prize did not win because she has no influence but if you see the way they showed this girl with love more than the one that actually won ehn, you will not want to succeed, lol.

The truth is, you need experience to be successful in anything. That experience doesn’t just come by itself though does it? It takes practice, failure, re-evaluations and re-executions to get the success you desire. As long as you don’t give up, and stay on course, success is assured. Of course, might take long, but it will happen for you eventually.
In my experience, you should be worried if you succeed too easy, because this can mean a lot of things: you either are not pushing yourself to the best of your abilities, you cheated or you just got lucky. None of these scenarios is good news if you really want to be a successful person(with a good reputation anyways).
One can succeed too easily if he takes easy task that are not as challenging to yield his growth or instead but have learned the mistakes others have made.

Well, life is full of risk and we should not stop taking risk due to fear of failure. I agree with you that failure has a way of shaping ones life to be better. I have tried so many things and failed but then, it didn't stop me from striving to succeed. But rather, I reflected on what made me to fail and keep working on those areas for a better tommor.
I will keep taking some risk, I will keep striving and when I fail, I will rise and learn my lesson from that.

I've once said it before that “Failure is a step away to success”. If we fail out on a project or anything and we choose not to try again, then we are not ready to write a success story.
To every successful person story(only in rare cases), there will always be some failed attempt which they failed to allow it bring them down. It's only a coward that will be scared of taking a step with the notion 'I don't want to fail'.
Life itself is a risk and if we are scared of taking risk, how do we get to the point of achieving what we desire? We just need to set it right and not take a reckless risk. Also, to every failed risk, we might need to restrategize and look out for what we are not doing right.
About the tree scenario that you used, we should not look down on others that are yet to succeed in their attempt just because they are failing, there failure is only building them up for the success ahead. With time, endurance and perseverance, story will change.
At different points of my life, I've taken some steps which I expected it to make way for me. Unfortunately, I see myself failing in them. It was a risk anyway, but I still never retired from forging ahead and I can say that I'm still on the right track despite the failed attempts.
Well, I learnt that failure should not be a stumbling block on my way to success. Whatever I have a positive mindset about, I should not be discouraged by anything whatsoever. My MINDSET is my greatest asset.

what’s life best teacher? experience is what readily comes to mind . Failure doesn’t mean it’s over if one doesn’t give up in fact it prepares the mind for greater things ahead. Failure just like pain is strength in disguise , if you do not set sight on giving up in any iota of form.
