After a month since we last bought some foods stuffs in the house, my roommate and I decided to go out to buy in food stuffs that was needed in the house.

At the same time, I need to pay my school fees so I calculated the amount in cash I had at hand and the amount I needed to remove from my Hive account to make everything complete.

My school fees is about $70 and I have $35 in cash. So I needed an addition of $35 to complete my school fees. Also @mayorkeys, who is my roommate, and I have been saving at least 2 HBD each week to buy foodstuffs. This time, we both have saved 20 HBD (10 each) and decided to use it to buy foodstuffs.

So, I decided to remove 69 HBD then use 20 HBD at most for foodstuffs. From there, we were able to get the following:

ITEMSPRICES
A paint of rice$4.3
A paint of Beans$5.5
A paint of garri$2.3
450g of Golden Morn$1.7
A row of Curry and tyme$0.9
A 75ml bottle of palm oil and vegetable oil$3
2 pack of maggi (food seasoning)$0.5
Total$18.2

When I traded HBD to cash, I traded it for 0.93/$. So we can say $18.2 is almost 20 HBD.

Below are pictures of the food stuffs we bought.

@mayorkeys and I went home thinking how our lives would be if there was nothing like Hive to save the day for us.

This is one thing we would always continue to appreciate about Hive. Thanks for reading through.

Yes oh brotherly.. that’s all we can say.. A very big appreciation to Hive for this. Most especially those who have supported me along the way. This would not have been possible without them. Thanks for your comment too bro.

Yes indeed.
Nepal is not that expensive. 2$ for electricity, 1$ for drinking water , 10$ for internet/ Month.

Hive is a blessing friend to all. I had gathering 4 months to then change and give it to my 3 children...they were very happy because they had time without buying something for them like shoes or shirts .. I'm glad you can also solve and buying with the prices over there you can say it is more expensive , the difference is that here there is no purchasing power. In Venezuela the minimum wage is like 3 dollars .... Imagine you have to look for other ways to produce because although a rice costs 1 dollar for example it is more difficult to have it...living in an oil country it makes you want to cry but never give up...greetings and blessings.
