Hi, Hivians!

Today is the happy 17th week of my initiative.

Last week we talked about motivation. And today I want to talk about the moments when we really feel alive. I think everyone has them different, but there are many that are the same. I'm sure everyone has their own special moments, places or people with whom they feel truly alive.

Perhaps that feeling accompanies a feeling of love, happiness, or elation. Or a feeling of emptiness and lightness, like when one meditates. Or it may be a mixture of different feelings at the same time. But these are the moments in which one wants to live and breathe most fully.

There are times, days, or events when this feeling is very faint. Everyone has black lines or bad days. And then it pays to remember even more that we are still alive and tomorrow may bring wonderful moments again.

Honestly, I'm going through just such a period in my life right now. Sometimes it can be evident in my sad posts, but I still try to carry more positive energy. Sooner or later things will get better, and good will win. Right now it's important not to lose good people, not to miss opportunities to give love and smile no matter what.

Things are so interesting in life sometimes. When I believed in the power of community, I found Hive. When I saw life in every day, I found We Are Alive Tribe. As my Hive brother said, everything comes when the time is right...

Right now, to feel alive, all I have to do is go outside and take a walk along a lake or in the woods. Even a crowded street is suitable as a last resort. The scenes of a mother hugging her child are unparalleled. Or a girl walking with a bright smile in the pouring rain. Or the sad eyes of the man who dropped his groceries right in front of his house door. You can watch this movie endlessly, every day. And it's called life!

Yes, it doesn't take much for me to feel alive.

What do you like to do to feel more alive?

I will, as always, end my thoughts at the end of this post. Now to business!

Today is the 17th round of my giveaway gratitude, and I'm glad so many people supported the idea and participated in my act of gratitude and gratuitous giving. I will be giving away 5 HSBI + 1 this week and beyond. Another 1 HSBI I will be giving away as a token of my appreciation for various things. It can be a sincere comment or just a contribution to Hive life. Perhaps it will be advice to me or to the community. Or it might even be the bitter truth spoken to my (and only me!) face! In fact, I don't really know what or who will inspire me yet, myself. But from this day forward, I will be giving my thanks to one more participant on my own behalf! I think it will be interesting! So let's get started!

Goal

As I wrote in the first post Giveaway of Gratitude. 5 HSBI. CLOSED!, I give every day and want to take it to Hive! The purpose of this next giveaway is to give back to Hive and its members my share of appreciation and love! This is a gratuitous giveaway. That is, if the payout for this post is 5.01 Hive, I will give away 6 HSBI! The only thing I get is your love and part of the Hive SBI (that's how HSBI works).

What is HSBI

HSBI is a social experiment that has grown into something bigger. I have read many posts and other information about it. In my opinion, it is worthy of both Hive and this world in general! If you don't already know what HSBI (Hive SBI) is, read this post: Hive SBI

Why am I leaning specifically toward HSBI? Because this value that I give away also stays at Hive. It also shows my love for this blockchain and everyone involved!

This phrase has gotten me out of many unpleasant situations and still helps me to this day. If we're already here, why not take advantage of it and do something good? Give kindness, smiles, or rejoice in the little things at hand.

It's raining - somewhere there will be a rainbow. Something doesn't work out - there's an opportunity to learn something or learn something new.

No one knows what tomorrow will bring, but we have a great today!

Today I want to show gratitude for my grandma still being alive. Although she's having some physical problems, especially with walking, she still really tries to do everything for me, one of her grandchildren. Today she surprised me with baking waffles, which were 'as always' very delicious!

To your question as to what brings me most alive. In truth I've shifted and reoriented my entire life over the past few years to be in alignment with what brings me most alive, so now I am able to honestly say many things do this for me in my life! Living barefooted and naked, deep in and very close to earth and nature is a huge one for me! So is working with, growing, propagating, and sharing my beloved plants! The sessions that I offer to women do this too, as they are so strongly part of purpose! Working and playing with Arch Linux, and here on Hive, are also very important to me for this reason too! There are many things in my life which bring me alive! These mentioned are only a few notable ones! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I had one of those moments today actually. Having head health issues over the last couple of months, I have been to some lows in my life. Today, I was out running in the morning. It was cold but the warmth of the sun was coming through and the sky had a lovely blue colour. It was bright. I got to that point in my run where I felt at ease, and was moving through the countryside at pace. With the beautiful day and the adrenaline pumping, I felt alive and great all of a sudden. I was appreciating feeling fully alive and vowing to live every minute.

I had some knee problems for a while and found that doing loads of strength exercises helped. Also, the running posture - not to lock out the knees when running.

Actually finding Alive token made me think about a lot of stuff in my life, thanks @mypathtofire for this. I am doing some trainings again, classes, I start some researches for future books and so on. I start to feel alive again.

Hi @stdd , very happy and grateful to be one of the beneficiaries of your gratitude this week. I also extend my congratulations to all the benefited congeners, congratulations.
The topics of your weekly posts make me reflect, philosophize, generate questions in a back and forth of thoughts. That is why it is impossible for me to give an answer adjusted in time. Fortunately you give us seven days to do so.
Going into the subject, I would like to express that the more I advance in this journey called life, adding years, experiences and experiences that generate impressions, I am becoming less demanding and selective in the processes and triggers that condition or generate the feeling of being alive. The "little things" have become big and depending on the state I am in, small details generate tranquility, peace and comfort me, ratifying that everything has a purpose at the right time. For example, being in a hospital working more than twelve hours, without being able to rest; just getting home, taking a shower and enjoying a cup of coffee makes me feel alive.
