Crummy biscuits? Oh now them be fighting word here in the south! Whoever heard of scones and sausage gravy? huh? huh? or sausage, egg, and cheese scones? When did you ever here Yosemite Sam hollering "MY SCONES ARE BURNING! MY SCONES ARE BURNING!" Not ever I tell you! Now scones might be a mighty fine thing to snack on and can't find a biscuit. Might be right fine with tea even, but on the sixth day just before resting GOD MADE BISCUITS! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I knew that at least one person wouldn't allow me to get away with my punniness!

I cannot disagree with the answer to your first question, but the second, I suggest, is a bastardisation of that great 80's song about burning beds...🤣

Biscuits, shmishcuits, scones or sc-oh-nes, doesn't matter, they tasted great!

PS love myself the odd crummy, crunchy biscuit - sweet or savoury. Have even been known to make them. 🤣🤐
