Some potraits of tiny animals from the aceh forest

avatar

Dear my friends

today I will share some portraits of my hunts in the aceh forest, for the day I share some portraits of wild animals that are very difficult to touch because these tiny animals are not at all tame to humans.

I found them perched on a coffee leaf and he didn't move at all, as if he was hiding or otherwise he was stalking prey smaller than him that would make a delicious meal, but I really don't know why he was so calm before I did bring the camera phone closer to his face.

This tiny animal has a name The Surinam cockroach or greenhouse cockroach[1] (Pycnoscelus surinamensis) is a species of burrowing cockroach. It is a common plant pest endemic to the Indomalayan realm that has spread to tropical and into subtropical regions around the world, and in isolated populations to temperate climates where protective habitat such as greenhouses provide shelter for individuals inadvertently shipped in the soil of plants. Its populations are almost exclusively female, and it reproduces through parthenogenesis, having evolved several clonal strains from its sexual progenitor P. indicus. Wikipedia

I managed to take a picture of the Surinam cockroach from the front in an upright position that was almost touched by the cellphone camera

The Surinam cockroach started to move because it was already bothered by me

and this is the last portrait when he will fly away from me

while here are three portraits of tiny animals that are no less great than the Surinamese cockroach above.

this tiny animal is still included in the grasshopper family, but it has a different color from other types of grasshoppers in general, this grasshopper I found on the riverbank was sitting on a dry bamboo twig.

This tiny animal has the name Chorthippus biguttulus, the bow-winged grasshopper, is one of the most common species of grasshopper found in the dry grassland of northern and central Europe.[1] It is part of a group of species (biguttulus-group) that are very difficult to identify morphologically. Chorthippus biguttulus was previously classified (with C. brunneus and C. mollis) as a single species Stauroderus variabilis. The three species were distinguished using song characteristics.
